More excited about the prospects of JeQuan Lewis tbh. He doesn't fit the tall PG bill we usually like, but I think he has a better chance sticking than Bronson.

Well, of course we could beat it. I figured you had a scenario that made sense for us.

any scenario that trades Parker, Middleton and picks for a 27 year old top 15 player, makes sense

Do you honestly think CHI would trade him in division?

yeah, i don't regard the GarPax duo that fast on the brain.. they were excited to trade Snell for MCW, that tells a lot if you ask me.. If they had the chance to present a return of Parker and Middleton and a few picks, they would be ecstatic.

In any case, i m not that upset.. even though Butler would be a huge leap on quality from Middleton, i don't mind not happening either.. i would prefer a pointguard with sniper skills or a unicorn like KP.. so fingers crossed

Other threads to talk about Butler trade.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Showy would be a good get. A long shot to be sure. He and Koenig in Oshkosh would be cool though.

I love Koenig. He hit so many big shots for my Badgers over the years. But he cannot move laterally the way he would need to in order to make the league. I remember when Jordan Taylor was playing Summer League and couldn't get the ball to mid court to start the offense. If BK is asked to bring it up against a hungry NBA talent the same thing will happen. But Jordan is still playing professionally at a high level and Koenig can still do that. I just don't think he can play in the NBA.

He can definitely shoot but the UW offense is so un-NBA it's hard to translate much else.

The Herd (ugh) would have more sell outs than the BC this year.

agreed +10000

A 6'-2" 2 guard ?

off the bench, sure why not? Point is that for our G League team sign guys that are smart and can defend, pass, or make the open shot. Those guys can surround a young inexperienced uber athletic guy and help him learn how to play the right way. It's pretty much what the Spurs have done with their d league team and they've got a couple of guys playing in the nba because of it.

Long shot at being like Delly. I'll take it.

A few years ago I was mad that Delly made the national team and thought it was cute that he was trying out for the NBA.

Gross. I had a feeling this is how the Bucks were going to use the D-league & new 16 & 17th spots. Waiting for the Mike Bruesewitz, Keaton Nankivil shoes to drop.

I mean, it's cool and all since he's an ex-Badger. And I do like his game (at the collegiate level at least). But I sure hope he wasn't their top choice.

I'd like to know if they reached out to guys like Simmons, Oliver, Jok, Burton etc.

If it's just for the D-league, whatever. Makes absolutely no sense to give him the guaranteed 16 or 17th spot right now before summer league & training camp. He's nowhere near good enough to warrant that.

Could be that they just really liked him during his workout before he twisted his ankle.
