From someone who formerly worked for LED:

"They have no clue; don't care about people. Year one and two was about family. Year three they could care less."

Sounds about right.

Matches every other bit of info we've gotten about them, so sure.

I don't think you need a source to tell you they don't care about their people....also believe the ownership group is in the midst of their own civil war.

they havent been very impressive thus far in their decision making or ability to put together a coherent plan for the future.

Pretty much everything they've done with the non-basketball aspect of management has been a success. But on the basketball side, it has been very disappointing and distressing, especially considering their introductory press conference back in 2014.

Got us a G-League team. So that's cool. Oh, and they throw block parties.

Other than that, they've been an embarrassment. It all started with the hiring of Lasry's buddy, Jason Kidd. The writing was on the wall early, but nobody wanted to see it.

And they completely lied to the fans when they bought the team, saying they were gonna hire basketball minds and let them do their thing.

Even Herb Kohl is disgusted. He's rolling over in his La-Z-Boy right about now.

I give them an A on the non-basketball side.

I give them an F on the basketball side.

They hire the wrong people, allow Kidd to influence this organization from top to bottom, and make the organization look incompetent in hiring the GM and HC. What high level basketball exec would ever want to join such a ****show of a front office?

There's way too many cooks in the kitchen and I have absolutely zero confidence in any of them. My fear is Giannis and other key players will understand this chaos and bolt. They will have dug their own graves by utter incompetence.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

This was a non-basketball area.

I don't know what's going on on the inside, I just have my opinion on what the ownership group has done since acquiring the franchise, both on the non-basketball area and basketball area. But I appreciate your info from someone formerly on the inside, it's not surprising, but it is disheartening.

It sucks that the Bucks fanbase has MANY more casual fans than hardcore fans (like us here). So when LED is hearing people freak out and get excited because, "OMG, WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS", they think they're doing a good job.

I think this is a question that should be brought up: Are they out of touch with the reality where they're not close to where they need to be or do they just not care?

Overall I think they are doing a good job so far. Sure they've made some mistakes and could've done things better, but at the end of the day this franchise is in a much better place now then it was 3 years ago under Kohl.

I get pretty jealous listening and reading to what Steve Ballmer is doing for the Clippers. What could have been.

For me this is the biggest issue, for all of old Herbs issues, at least he seemed like a good dude. Think the new owners are just in it for the $$ and prestige.

They let Hammond go. Had winning seasons 2 out of their first 3 years after inheriting a 15-win team. Actually convinced a big name free agent to come to Milwaukee.
