I give Gery credit for taking his kick at the can. He does bring it in that piece.

Interesting to see Zanik try to claim credit for Snell.

In which Woefel fingers Zanik as responsible for the Snell trade and DJ Wilson as a Kidd pick.

(Another side note: a bigwig in the Bucks’ organization said it was recently-fired Bucks assistant general manager Justin Zanik who did the leg work and vehemently pushed for the trade, which was unquestionably one of the team’s best moves in eons.)

Kidd and Rod Thorn. Fly out to LA for secret DJ Wilson workout in Santa Monica. Told me all I needed to know as to who was running things. They just need to bring in Kerry Kittles as director of college scouting to complete the 2002 Nets family.

I don't care for Gery's opinions on the Bucks or their direction.

wasnt that spread out over a few more years? Or did they accelerate it forward somehow that I’m not aware they can?

I know hoops hype had it as 5M this season, but I thought that was an error.

Well, that explains where Gery got it.

Yikes.

Horst wasnt GM at the time, or was he?

The fact that Thorn was running anything... and that Adam Silver is suggesting we hire Danny Ferry just makes me want to puke.

Years ago, I caught Gery accidentally posting on twitter this message that was clearly supposed to be a DM to a poster here. We never ascertained precisely who he was DM'ing this to but there are suspicions.

Grey was reading the thread yesterday about how no one in the media challenges the Bucks and how much shot we give him, so he writes this hoping we'll like him now.

I'd applaud the proactiveness and appeasement factor.
