Trading DJ Wilson for a roster spot is making the bet that there would never be a time when we could not get a better player on a minimum salary. Which seems to me to be very obviously true.

It'll be a low key bummer for the G-league if the Herd fall out of the playoffs. They have one of the best crowds in the league.

I brought up that +/- just because I was shocked at the number. I know DJ Wilson sucks, I watch every Badger game and saw him play quite a bit at Michigan. Wagner was a much better player than Wilson last year. I hated the pick the moment it was announced.

DJ Wilson goes for 8 points tonight on 3 of 12 shooting. Amazingly he did grab 15 rebounds.

Former Herd legend Bronson Koenig goes for 17 and 7 boards.

But everyone on RealGM told me Koenig was the worst player ever

   He's on his third G-league team in one season. Hopefully he finds a nice situation in Europe.

I had some hope for Bronson but it was beyond obvious he is not an NBA player

The Herd are 1-4 since acquiring Ricky Ledo. I liked the signing but he's been playing some disastrous basketball.

Jennings 0-10 last night in 38 minutes. He did have 10 assists and only 2 turnovers, so that's good I guess.

The herd games are really fun. Went last night and rail cocktails are 4 bucks, sold out house and quick two hour pace. Also highly recommend Pete's garage for pre and post game food.

1/3 pound burgers were 3.50 and delicious. Coors light was 1.50 a pint. We ordered pitchers and had to ask ourselves how cheap a pitcher must be to have any cost benefit.

Say what you will about plus/minus, but DJ is now a mind numbing -169 in 10 g-league games, an average of -16.9 per game. (http://stats.gleague.nba.com/player/#!/1628391/gamelogs/) Want more? He has a hideous -24.4 net rating in more than 320 minutes! (http://stats.gleague.nba.com/player/#!/1628391/stats/advanced/) This is enough of a sample size to be meaningful and downright scary.

This is exactly why I've been advocating for a WNBA team for years. We could stash Wilson down there for years and no one would suspect anything
