Mason also had two huge threes in the comeback to force overtime and Tucker had a critical boneheaded turnover on an overtime inbounds pass that killed momentum. Neither negates what they did throughout the rest of the game but there’s obviously more to the box score than meets the eye. I’m very interested to see if Tucker can get into the paint and score over NBA defenses.

Luke Maye being out also really hurt them last night.

He's sitting on the bench.

I wonder if they were just trying to get more players exposure at the showcase? Or if they communicated they're ready to promote Tucker? I hope it's the latter.

I saw the end of the game and the depth guys played well.

I don't see him getting called up. The Bucks don't have a spot for him and he's really not ready for a roster spot. That 1/1 assist to TO ratio needs to improve. He's definitely ready for a TW contract. He certainly has improved the first two months of the season.

Congrats to Tucker, what a great moment for him if so. Hope he can keep his momentum with a different coaching staff/organization.

On one hand it's a good problem to have to not be able to keep everybody, and on top of that should help bring good talent to the Herd in the future if we can show we can consistently graduate guys to a real shot in the NBA. On the other hand I'd rather have Tucker than Mason or Reynolds

It’s great for the organization to have guys come through and quickly get called up. One of coach Buford’s stated goals. Congrats to Tucker.

Good for Tucker. Jaylen Adams is the guy I hope we use our next two-way contract on anyways.

Looks like it’s the Rockets. Could be a good fit for Tucker.

Yeah, I think he's a nice prospect, but the to's concern me, and while he shows potential as a 3 point shooter, I think that's also a concern.

Hollinger spent the weekend at the Vegas showcase and had this to say about Tucker:

If you’re looking for an unsigned player to make a roster soon, start with Wisconsin’s Rayjon Tucker. The rookie from Arkansas Little-Rock was already getting buzz as a potential call-up, and then centered his status by hanging 34 on Salt Lake City on Friday. Tucker sat out Wisconsin’s final game on Sunday, with the suspicion in league circles being that he is close to an NBA deal.
Tucker was originally slated to go to the University of Memphis as a grad transfer this year before deciding to take his chance on the NBA instead. Short for a wing but powerfully built, he shot 38.6 percent from 3 in Wisconsin (and made 41.4 percent as a collegian), while showing a degree of playmaking ability despite lacking point guard handles. (Also, shed a tear for Memphis fans – who briefly thought they would have Tucker AND Wiseman this year).
