Don’t really see it with Morris. Seems a little small to be an impactful wing defender and his offense is pretty mediocre. Maybe he’s a solid practice guy to have, not betting on his NBA upside.

James Young looks like he’s been getting very familiar with local Oshkosh cuisine. If I’m his agent I get him paid in China for the rest of his days.

Nwamu has some exciting athleticism. He and Jordan Barnett really get after it. Brandon McCoy seems like he could only ever matchup with Boban types. Maybe even just Boban.

Good for Wood to get some run, really good for the Heard to have an excellent Gleauge post player... The Heard play 3 games in 5 nights in Oshkosh, hopefully Wood plays in all 3 games.

Yeah, surprising Morris isn't showing better, he looked kinda good last year with ATL.

Last year McCoy looked good against the top college guys, so I'm willing to give him some time to adjust to pro ball.

Kind of interesting and unprecedented (at least compared to last year) that two active roster players will miss a Bucks home game in order to suit up for the Herd in Oshkosh. Would be very curious to know how much financial interest there is in keeping the Herd competitive in the standings. If they’re DNPCDing I’m all for it from a hoops perspective.

Based on crowd size I'd imagine the Herd are doing about as well as can be expected from a financial perspective. Really love them sending guys like Brown, Wood, and WIlson down when they are playing in oshkosh, lets them stay in game shape and develop at the same time. I really think the g-league has a chance to be a huge thing in the US. Start luring in some of these top prospects and you have a far superior product to college basketball and you have those players being able to make money from everything that the NCAA doesn't allow you to do. Really curious if a #1 or #2 guy gets offered an endorsement deal and forgoes college to play in the g-league

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Best stretch of ball I’ve seen from Morris. He seems best playing downhill and definitely has a motor, still don’t know if he has the size or stroke to be am effective wing in the league.

James Young has Jabari/Carmelo/Harden tendencies on defense. Can score in his sleep at the G-league level but I wonder if his overall (lack of) energy is hurting the team. Can’t see him sniffng an NBA roster unless he’s picked up to help a tank.

Went to my first game last night and Giannis was in the party deck. Does that happen a lot?

Really like Travis Trice. Smart, competitive shot maker. Maybe he could be DJ Augustin lite as someone’s third PG. His shooting gives him a chance.

I hated him a year ago. He developed so much. Still think he may need some developement but yeah I can definately see him making a NBA roster some day.

Against Grand Rapids , Duval posted 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field (a perfect 4-for-4 from three, 0-for-1 from the charity stripe), four turnovers, three rebounds, one assist as well as one steal and was a -7 in over 31 and a half minutes.

The Herd are down 114-61. Kinda game that gets a coach fired.

Yea, they don't seem as competitive as last year. Is it the roster or coaching? Or both?

Both but the roster is really subpar, even by G-league standards. Doesn’t help that the best player on the team (James Young) sets an exceptionally lethargic tone.Think they could use a coaching shake up.

Duval is 5-for-30 in his last two and shooting just 38% on the year. To call him a project would be a significant understatement.

At 1-8 the Herd are the worst team in the league.

Bad G-League player Wood put up a 33-11-2-2-2 line yesterday.

I don't think anyone is saying he is a bad player g-league player. He looks good. But Bud obviously doesn't like something right now. And it might be whether or not he is playing hard at ALL times.

DJ Wilson had 19 points and 6 rebounds in 15 minutes while shooting 8-8 from the floor, including 2-3s. He threw some nifty passes, including a one hander of the dribble.

His body language is maddening, but he at least was consistently vocal with teammates on where they should be on both offense and defense. His skill set is impressive, with terrific foot agility and rare ball handeling ability for a 6'10" player. He's an intriguing weirdo.
