I understand that it's exaggerated by the slowness of the average Euro wing, but I could swear that Gianni's first step is even faster than last year. He just breezes past people.

Our best lineup was the Antetokounmpo brothers plus two guards plus another wing.
No C.

Greece seems to have a big problem with rebounding. It was visible in all friendly matches up to now. Furthermore aside from Bourousis, the rest of Greek Cs are mediocre at best. Even that 7'2 Greek kid from UC Irvine seems a major upgrade in comparison to them.

There are no significant Cs in this tournament (Jokic & Gobert are out), so it's not like you really need one in D. A couple of good rebounding forwards are sufficient and they give you a lot more options in offense, especially if they can shoot a little.

I'd have on the floor at all times 3 of the following: Giannis, his brother, Printezis, Papapetrou and Papanikolaou. I'd only play a C by exception for limited minutes if the opponent tries to play through someone like Marjanovic.

No jokic will Not Play. Best Center in eurobasket are the gasols
Rest is solid but Not near to Elite.
Vucevic is great but mediocre Team around him

Giannis will not play tonight in friendly game versus Serbia because of minor problem with knee.

More soreness? Don't know if him playing with knee issues is worth it.

Enough is enough. Playing through this would just be stupid. Get some serious rest and get ready for the NBA season.

I think it was a stupid alley-oop pass from Calathes that Giannis tried to reach and he was fouled on the air and twisted awkwardly his left knee while landing.

At this point ... if it is the same knee that haid issues earlier... I suggest he better stop with the NT this summer.

Focus on rehab Giannis. Greeks can wait... we love you !!!

It was his right knee that had soreness not the left Fotis.

I think it is nothing. They just don't want to push him on a b2b friendly game for no real reason.
He goes to China until the 20th of August and then he will come back for 2 friendlies and the eurobasket games.

OK. Which knee is injured now ? If it is the left it is from that foul. That buf**n Montenegro guy was hard fouling Giannis all night.

It's not nothing. Can we please stop with that. This wear and tear accumulates. If he's feeling persisting discomfort in the summer that's not a good sign for the NBA season. He's already under a massive workload during the season, he does not need to be pushing through this crap in the summer.

I can't see Giannis in our bench. Maybe he has already left for Milwaukee to get ready for the trip in China.
