The main goal this year is to show the league that all of our young guys can play, that's it.
If we can achieve that then we're entering next summer with a tonne of drool worthy assets to dangle in front of people, and let them do the dreaming and the calculations which one of them will be better in the future. We just collect what they give us back, pick what we don't want to sell at all, and make sure it all fits around Giannis. Can't be that **** hard, all we need is a healthy season out of everybody

This is probably the best anology.

Not to come back to this again, but if you're a Parker guy shouldn't it be reversed? You're saying Parker has almost zero shot of ever being literally anything.

Bad, Supreme. Bad!

You're saying that the chances that either hit are slim, but if the Powerball hits, whoa baby!

We're still not sure if Thon can catch a ball in traffic, rebound at his position, or actually shoot consistently yet. The few flashes were nice though.

Just ignore summer league.

We don't even know if Jabari could guard a chair or understand any defensive system.

Also I don't know if Jabari can understand anything new or you are doomed to always retrofit a team around what Jabari was used to doing in AAU. I need him to play C for minutes, I need him to rebound and use his giant ass to box people out, I need him to stay out of the 3pt line for stretches, can he learn new things? At least Thon clearly gets it and always tries to do the correct thing even though his legs or hands fail him at times.

Right. That is why I addressed some of the more important factors in determining a player's perceived value.

I don't watch a ton of Bucks games anymore, but from what I have seen based off eye test and JP's injuries I'd take Thon.

When you consider how young and raw he is,the defensive presence that Thon brings is already quite impressive.

****, great question. I barely lean Jabari. Emotions cloud judgement.
