How is that even your argument? Where on earth did I say or even imply a second round pick is a sure thing. More often than not, a second round pick flames out and is dead money. They're all hail marys. You made an argument against your position. They aren't sure things, so complaining about having 1 instead of 2 is overkill.
Imagine you have a six-sided die. Label a 4-6 as a "win". What's you chance to get one or more wins out of two rolls of the dice?
Unfortunately, for your "argument," that's not applicable given the ACTUAL odds of the dice being thrown.........
10 guys from the 2014 draft have appeared in 100 games out of a possible 246. KJ McDaniels, Joe Harris, JOB, and Markel Brown are four of those guys. Feel free to dig into how 2nd rounders fare on a year to year basis if you think I'm cherry picking.
