Narcos is a great show overall. Well done, great acting, the overall story is great in the classic good guys vs bad guys type thing so it's entertaining. And frankly the level of power Pablo/Cartel had is just amazing to think about what they accomplished as gangsters, so that make it cool too. But the overall takeaway I come from on it is that the whole thing is futile. So you take down Pablo, other guys step up. Take those goes down, other guys will step up and have for 30 years since the show finishes. As long as the USA wants drugs someone will find a way to get it to them.

Back in the 90's I was in a very famous TV show.

I've had that in my head for 3 days.

Yep. That's pretty much why the 'war on drugs' did not and will not work. There will always be demand. Legalize, regulate/tax, funnel some of that money into education/prevention. Rinse and repeat.

Yup, billions of dollars being siphoned out of the US economy every year. Combine that with the money being spent on the drug war itself and it's a staggering amount of money being blown every year.

I plan to dive into the new Narcos season this weekend hopefully. Football may put a cramp in that. Great series.

Rewatching Breaking Bad. Like it much more the second time around, less annoyed by Jesse/Skyler.

Obv only one ep in, but it lives up to The Wire so far. Early signs of an all-timer.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just marathoned season 3 of You're the Worst. It's breathing down It's Always Sunny's neck at this point.

I was in when I saw Simon was behind The Deuce, but I hadn't seen the cast until now. Wow, I'm a fan of a ton of people.

For you Last Chance U fans: it looks like Isaiah Wright and his brother were both charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Tennessee.

For people who watched the show, Isaiah and his three brothers came from terribly challenging upbringing - foster home after foster home, child abuse, violence, etc. I was hoping that Isaiah would find a way to prosper because he was incredibly talented. This is just a sad story all around.

To many good shows out there to watch.

Mr. Robot starting next month

Narcos back

I really like The Sinner on USA

The Duece looks good

A friend got me to try Humans and now i'm into the first season and like it

There are other shows friends/family tell me to try

Brewers in a playoff race. College and Pro football.

I try to make a point not to be a slave to my TV, but then some show i've been watching has a new season out and/or i get sucked into a show i initially passed on with multiple seasons like Humans and then i'm staying up way to late saying "this will be the last episode tonight" and then i watch another.

Is it good? My mom has been trying to get me to watch it. Funny but not joking.
