Fotis St wrote:Dear Bucks fans,

I want to share Alexandra's health status with you.

My beautiful daughter is doing well.

No symptoms since March 2018.

But since Purpura is an Autoimmune Disease , my soul is stressed, hoping to never come back.

I am trying to rest my soul by praying and be the best dad I can.

Love you guys, I missed you.

I will try to post more.

Thank you all for praying for my daughter , I can't thank you enough .
Dealing with the unknown is very hard to do. I would know since I am dealing with something that I do not know when it will strike. I will keep you and your family in mt prayers. The only advice I can share is live life to the fullest everyday for you and your daughter. Try not to think about what the worst thing that can happen and remain positive. May God Bless you both.

That’s great to hear. My best friend also deals with an auto-immune disease so I understand to a far less strenuous extent how hard it is for them and the people around them. Just stay positive and enjoy every second. You’re all strong and you can fight through anything.

Unlike basketball, this is what is important. We all wish you and your family the best. Keep us updated.

Great to hear mate. It is important you like after yourself. Thank you for sharing your feelings and emotions with us, that is a hard thing to do.

The same things apply to you. Whether it be distraction or talking to someone it's important you try and process your own feelings and work through them. I hope there are people you can talk to, either through your medical system or maybe your church. Find someone you like talking to.

To remain strong for her you must be strong of mind yourself. Take care.

I wasn't aware of this thread until today and when I came to this update I gave a literal fist pump, great news man, thanks for sharing!

As far as stressing the unknown, and I know this is a lot easier said than done, do your best to always live in the moment and block out the "what if's" that linger. Being present is the best way to enjoy that moment and be the best pops you can to Alexandra with the added bonus of more peace for you. Cheers, my friend!

I'm so happy to hear that your daughter is doing well. I hope she enjoys basketball as much as you, but I also hope she's much better at gauging talent :)

We miss you, buddy. Take care of your family. We'll be here when you need to laugh or you just need to share.
