He's been great all season but he's been an absolute monster in the playoffs (both this season and last season). Giannis needs to win that matchup and he's not so far.
Well he’s not winning it defensively on the low block - Horford is really really good. He’s a very smart player, he’s strong, he can shoot from 20 and in, he doesn’t make mistakes, he doesn’t miss and he can pass the ball. Giannis is doing more than enough to help offensively though I still lament his lack of former Point Giannis vision and his lack of consistency at the FT line.
This series is being lost by Bledsoe’s implosion, Prunty’s rotations, Jabari’s overall ‘patheticness’, Midds’ continued poor defense, Henson’s poor basketball abilities. and an overall pathetic remaining supporting cast. Rozier, Morris, and Brown have been feasting on all of the above in addition to Horford. And, when Shane Larkin comes in and actually makes a difference while Brogdon keeps dribbling the ball away or carelessly turning it over...well, we’ll have those nice new colors to thank these brilliant owners for.
