Next Head Coach - Bucks to interview everyone, pg 41

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Apr 29, 2018 2:58 pm

Time for a new updated poll. I realize this is not 100% going to be all of the candidates but I'm trying to pare it down a bit. It could very well end up being someone not on this list but these are the leading candidates right now.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm not a fan of any of this because they need a POBO/GM.

But of the list above Budenholzer seems like the safest choice. It will end badly though.

I could be sold on any of these guys as long as they aren’t also the POBO.

Budenholzer and Messina are my top two.
All posts are my own opinion.

Still think Blatt would run a good system and get the respect of the locker room

All good candidates but I'd go Budenholzer. Wish there was a way to ban LED from picking anyone outside of that poll.

I'll take Hubie Brown. He's only 84. Still got a few good years left.

I went Fizdale, youngest guy and wouldn't consider him a retread since I think he got kind of a raw deal in Memphis.

Still Blatt. Best coach on the list.

Edit: I'd be happy with any of these guys though.

Are there ANY rumblings of a new POBO? Are we just kidding ourselves that there is a chance?

If they aren't going to hire a POBO, at least hire a guy who has won 60 games. That worked with George Karl. Budenholzer has won 60 games.

Just Woelfel spitballing that there might be a bigger name guy out there currently employed who'd consider leaving his current team if he also got personnel power here. The theory does make sense.

I’m all for Budenholzer, just heard a few things about Monty wanting to coach again and thought I’d throw the name into the discussion

Nice guy but not interested in him coaching. He is working as vice POBO for San Antonio so maybe consider him there? I really have no idea who people want as POBO or GM besides the Hinkie cultists.

I voted Nick Nurse, of the options I’d like to give a guy like him or Finch a shot. If we’re going for someone with prior experience, Budenholzer.

Afraid Bud loses the locker room once we start off slow next year, which in turn spirals out of control. I think I'm going with Fiz
