Maybe I misunderstand your question, but Giannis has had an almost unprecedented development over the years he has been in the league. It seems that he (and possibly the people he trains with) know what they are doing. So, in my eyes, if he believes Sweeney helps him and wants to keep him around he should be able to do so.
I understand the concerns about his shooting form. However,
- He has shown slow but consistent improvement in his shooting percentages (considering he increases the volume in some areas and adds new moves to his arsenal)
- If Bud or Bud's assistants do not like some parts of Giannis' development I am confident that they will intervene.
