Think people are going to realize really quick that the free agent market is going to be pretty dry in the next few years and guys like Tony Snell were never fair priced.

Think it has more to do with the current market for Centers than it does for the market in general. 3&D wings still gonna get paid.

I agree with this. There's a glut of big men (especially of the "traditional" mould) and point guards. So you can go cheap and find decent depth players in these positions.

However, there is a real premium for wings that can switch, play average or higher D and shoot the 3. If they can attack off the dribble, they are really valuable.

No way. First of all, Dwight Howard at this stage of his career is not better than John Henson if they were on the same contract. Second, I'm not trading a useful player on a reasonable contract for locker room cancer on a terrible contract.

Thankfully, we have Budenholzer who coached Howard in the past so I have no concerns that we would ever bring Howard here.

You could just cut Howard and come out ahead.

The trend is that we refuse to buy low on a guy who would be our best Center in the last 5 years.

He would have been a perfect fit next to Jabari. :( 8-)

I dunno. Dwight's a pretty impressive physical specimen. I wouldn't have the guts to gillooly his knee with a crow bar.

This has to be your running gag at this point.

Sadly, Max will never get to see the Jennings-Dwight PnR in action.

It really is a Bucket List item fading into the ether for Mr. Max. I salute you, brother. I wasn't aboard this drunken ship of fools. But, damned if I didn't love you anyhow!

Jennings might still land in Brooklyn. Have some faith!

Moreover, no way Henson is better than Howard right now. He's a moron and cancer in the locker room, but on coart ability it's not even close if you could just get his head on right. He put up 16/12 last year, no way Henson could do that. Even hit 57% of FTs.
