Thankfully, we have Budenholzer who coached Howard in the past so I have no concerns that we would ever bring Howard here.

You could just cut Howard and come out ahead.

Moreover, no way Henson is better than Howard right now. He's a moron and cancer in the locker room, but on coart ability it's not even close if you could just get his head on right. He put up 16/12 last year, no way Henson could do that. Even hit 57% of FTs.

I think Dwight's numbers are kinda misleading to "on court ability" because I think he does a lot of things on the court to get those numbers that actively hurt your team.

I read on the Ringer this morning that we were close to a Howard trade in 2016 with Houston. Only reason it did not happen was Howard would not opt in.

Probably Moose was involved in those talks.

Sooo glad we didn't go that way.

Can't believe I'm in a spot to defend Howard. This shouldn't come off as that, but more of a rip on Henson. But just think if we had a matchup vs Howard and all we have is Henson. It's one of those cases where you'd cringe as Howard can just bully him and dunk on him, push him around for every rebound, etc. Problem of course is he doesn't always just stick to or accept his role, whereas Henson knows exactly the blah player he is and doesn't overextend himself. And just to be clear, I've been vocal anti-Howard for years. Henson is just nothign compared to him though on ability.

Dwight still provides a lot in terms of rebounding and rim-protection, but he actively hurts you on offense every minute he's on the court.

I'm legit still pissed about this. There's still hope Brooklyn waves him and Horst comes riding in for the pickup.

Problem is he’ll bring a briefcase full of nothing to offer.

Probably still worth it if Doncic is there, right? He'd be expiring the same year as Henson/Delly and Mirza will already be off the books.

Bud was heavily involved in trading him for the worst contract in the history of the NBA. Dwight will NOT be a Buck (dodged that bullet). Time to move on.

I can't see it happening. Almost guarantee our new well respected head coach wants absolutely nothing to do with him, and that speaks to the problem of Howard to a T. He's that much more talented than anyone else we have but our good coach would rather not touch him.

I am sure Toronto will go for it again next year.

What could be if they decide to tear it up. With the players they have, could easily acquire the #1, #2 and #3 picks in the draft. Their future would be bright after the GS and Lebron era.

Man, Kevin McHale always seemed like such a good dude. What a bummer.

May all get along.

Going to laugh hard at Fultz getting sold at the lowest possible value (depending on additions and return). Worst month ever for Bryan. Ouch. Glorious
