You can change your picks. If someone isn't getting votes and enough people want someone else added, I'll change them out.

Latest DX Mock:

1 - PHO - Ayton
2 - SAC - Bagley III (??)
3 - ATL - Jackson Jr.
4 - MEM - Doncic
5 - DAL - Bamba
6 - ORL - Young
7 - CHI - Carte Jr.
8 - CLE - Porter Jr.
9 - NYK - Sexton
10 - PHI - Mik Bridges
11 - CHA - Mil Bridges
12 - LAC - Gilgeous-Alexander
13 - LAC - Walker IV
14 - DEN - R. Williams
15 - WAS - Knox
16 - PHO - Z. Smith
17 - MIL - Holiday
UCLA
Age: 21.6
PG

Height: 6-foot-1 | Weight: 187

With Eric Bledsoe approaching the final year of his contract, the Bucks could look to find a point guard who complements their existing pieces and whom they can build around for the long term.

Holiday had an outstanding junior season, and he would bring a number of attractive traits with his microwave scoring ability, long wingspan and toughness. The fact that he can space the floor and play off the ball is important, considering the building blocks the Bucks have in place.

Starting salary: $2,460,000

18 - SAS - T. Brown
19 - ATL - Huerter
20 - MIN - Bates-Diop
21 - UTH - Okobo
22 - CHI - Musa
23 - IND - Hutchinson
24 - POR - K. Thomas
25 - LOL - Melton
26 - PHI - Evans
27 - BOS - Okogie
28 - GSW - DiVincenzo
29 - BRK - J. Robinson
30 - ATL - Allen

I tried to get the ten players most talked about on here at #17 that were still likely(ish) to be there.

I went Smith-Melton-Vanderbilt but don't mind anybody on this list.

Also would put Spellman on par with my 3.

There's probably like 4-5 guys going in the 2nd that I prefer over Holiday. Just not an exciting prospect to me at all. One of the few drafts in the last several years where I'd advocate trading down if a guy like him is considered BPA (unless of course you can trade up).

Wish we could have conveyed this pick to Phoenix.

Went with Elie Okobo.

I went Donte, Vanderbilt, Okobo. Will probably keep changing my mind up until the draft.

Do people think Zhaire Smith can play the 1, similar to a Bazemore? That goes a long way in picking for me.

Is it bad that I really want to buy a pick in the 2nd for Kostas Antetokounmpo? Just for the small chance that he turns out to be 75% as good as Giannis with a couple years of Suki Hobson strenth training and professional development.

I also really think some team ends up in love with the last name and drafts him way higher than expected.

1. Khyri Thomas
2. Chandler Hutchison
3. Zhaire Smith

Some Khyri Thomas stats

Shooting Efficiency:

Career 40.6% 3 point shooter on 3.2 attempts
This season shot 41.1% from 3 on 4.6 attempts (Kevin Huerter 41.7% on 5.5 attempts)

2 point percentage increase by season is impressive
2015-16 49.6%
2016-17 56.8%
2017-18 63.9%

Shot 78.8% on free throws this year but he didn’t get to the line much just 2.6 attempts per game

53.8% from the field on 10.4 attempts per game

Some advanced shooting numbers
65% true shooting percentage (Kevin Huerter 64%, Donte DiVincenzo 60.8%)
62.9% effective field goal percentage (Kevin Huerter 61.6%, Donte DiVincenzo 59%)

Combine Measurements:

Khyri Thomas – Donovan Mitchell
Height w/ shoes
6’3.75” – 6’3”
Wingspan
6’10.5” – 6’10”
Standing Reach
8’5” – 8’1”

Not nearly as athletic as Mitchell so I’m not comparing them in any other way.

2x Big East defensive player of the year

Khyri is a very efficient scorer and shooter, and in my opinion the best on ball defender in the draft. Needs to work on creating his own shot and handling the ball but I think he can come in right away playing high level defense and making smart plays. He's most comfortable off the ball which is fine since we have Giannis, and he's going to knock down open shots. He's my pick at 17.

I went with Zhaire Smith, Elie Okobo, and Kevin Huerter. Shoutout to Josh Okogie and Khyri but they're just outside my top 3 of this poll.

I feel like he has a chance because when his footwork is right, his first step is very explosive, but would not bet on it. That's what gives him a super high ceiling, but he's got a lot of potential without it, too.

I like Okobo. Reminds me a bit of Dragic, a bit of Cameron Payne.

Creating his own shot and playmaking, he's the kind of player that shouldn't have the ball in his hands very long in an NBA offense. Not yet at least, he's smart moving off the ball which helps him get open shots which he can hit.

Size, he's just under 6'4" which isn't a big deal to me since he has a 6'10.5" wingspan but he's below average there.

Age, he just turned 22.

He's athletic but not elite when it comes to that, I think that covers his negatives.

When you say he shouldn't have the ball in his hands you mean like Snell bad?
I mean is he like Snell with better off the ball game?

I went Zhaire Smith, but I could be talked into several of the more NBA ready guys in this block.

The Bucks need a talent upgrade for the bench, especially after whiffing the recent first round picks; so the "BPA" is the order of the day; but that is often spun to fit need. They need a better Center rotation, and Henson won't cut it. Bledsoe's future with the Bucks is also a big wildcard here, potentially impacting who gets picked - even if you're not picking Bledsoe's replacement at 17. Lots of blank space for Horst & Bud to cipher through in the next weeks.
