He's undersized without being an impressive athlete nor a developed shooter. I'd stay clear.

Kinda feel bad for Zion. His hype is entering LeBron territory.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

He's not a LeBron prospect but he IS a Durant prospect. He has a crazy ceiling but I think the thing that isn't enough talked about is that he has a crazy high floor as an elite garbage man type who can get 15-20 a game on high efficiency without getting a play called and then turn around and defend pretty much anybody.

That hype (and tbf I think most of it is deserved) is getting him paid a ridiculous amount of money lol, even if his NBA career completely fails.

I get that, but if he struggles out of the gate he's going to be crucified by the media and fans.

Just hard for me to feel bad for a guy who is probably about to get an $80-100+ mil shoe deal before he even plays a minute in the NBA lol

I agree.

I think his ceiling is prime Suns Barkley and his floor is prime Jae Crowder. Thats a really good guy to have out on the floor either way.

Does anyone see him as a bigger, stronger version of early career Dwayne Wade?

I thought he was about 25lbs heavier (according to one measure I saw). 208 is less than the walking-stick-like Thon when he was drafted.

He was 234 last summer!

A seven foot three man weighing 208 pounds is incomprehensible to me. I’m 6’3 and 215 pounds and look reasonably athletic from most/some angles.

If he is indeed less than 235, he's either going to be shoved into the fourth row or snapped like a twig, once he gets to the NBA.

Horton-Tucker 6-2.5 in socks with a 7-1.25 wingspan.

Zion at 6'6, 285 lbs and the amount he attacks makes me wonder if he will stay healthy during his NBA career.

This Amir Hinton hype seems pretty cool, I like his story. He was invited to game 1 last night, Bucks like him at 30 is the buzz. No idea what to think other than the D Wade comp is outrageous.

I would imagine Bud and his coaching staff are NOT at the combine in Chicago, which could have some interesting ramifications for who we do/don’t draft.

I mean, it's not really their job to find the next Bucks draft pick.

Right. Bud was at the combine last year when he was very impressed by Donte DiVincenzo, who helped his stock with his play in Chicago. Who he likes definitely matters, regardless of his coach title. In our case for the first time ever I’m fine with those blurred lines.
