Ok so looking back at this 13 game stretch the key takeaway is: when you play the Bucks you will most likely lose, unless you are a very good team playing at home, and you bring your A game, in which case you might have a chance for a tough win.

Yeah, what are the great Aussie cultural achievements? Continuing surfing after recovering from the near-fatal shark attack you suffered while surfing? The ability to find incredibly foul-mouthed women charming? Being basically a raunchier version of Canada? The 1981 Mel Gibson film, "Gallipoli"?

As an American, I feel like I'm in a good position to judge others' cultures. Don't push back on that too hard though.

If you don't consider references to stick fingers up the bums of animals anything but culturally significant, then I don't know what to say to you.

We'll take our Margot Robbie and Miranda Kerr and leave.

Just rewatched the 2nd half.

5 minutes left, down 4 minus the ball, Bledsoe with huge plays back-to-back.

Suck it haters.

Huge exchange.

I think it says something that he looked quite good on difficult fade away jumpers but looked terrible on free throws. It seems that when he has time to think about it, he psychs himself out. When he just goes with it, it's been good more often than not. We all know what kind of worker he is. If it is possible for Giannis to become a good shooter, he will get it done.
He is leaving a lot of shots short. Higher release can help that. When he shoots FT I can tell he is going to miss. His fingers are not pointing straight up and down because his shooting elbow not lined up with his hand. Better off with the elbow more under his hand,

Lopez is putting up 7.2 threes in 26 minutes a game and hitting 42% of them. I think the team is proving to be at least regular season legit but I do wonder how sustainable this is and what happens when he's not this guy/or injured?

How did I know Twirly would be involved once I spotted the weekly Aussie slander? I swear to God, if you guys rip on me 13 or 14 more times, I'm outta here.

Do we have a large enough sample size to say that smaller and quicker teams will be an issue for our roster ?

Lopez will get paid, all the league wants stretch-bigs and our success will highlight his value. I think we will need to decide which players we will try to hold and try to find some good value to trade the rest.

Why anyone would advocate breaking up this team is beyond me. We have what appears to be a championship-caliber team here and you're worried about next year's cap situation? My God, man-get some perspective and enjoy the moment. This very well could be the team we've been waiting for. If you can't stop and smell the roses with this team, what's the point in being a fan?

We're fun. We're good. Enjoy the ride.

yeah honestly I have never seen a 7 footer do that before.
Basically I don't think I've ever seen a 7 footer with handles before... Maybe Jokic but I'm pretty sure he's a little shorter and nowhere near as long.

Went 2-2 on this swing, but won our two toughest games, IMO. Beating the Champs, and beating Denver on the second night of a back to back after a tough OT loss.

I'll take it.

Normally you’d want a 3-1 but the competition they faced was as strong as any short trip out West you could make. Usually you’ve got a Phoenix patsy or bad Kings team in the grouping.

4 in 6 days through Portland GS LAC and Denver on a back to back is the toughest trip any team in the NBA will take this year.

Yeah

Basically we mostly win this season they way we were losing last season (with huge leads, dominance) and we lose this season the way we were winning last season (close frantic games, could go either way, etc).

That is a great sign, but the season still underway.

Is it me or wherever we play this year there seem to be a lot more people cheering for us?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
