Man, I feel bad for Fultz but I love this is happening to the Sixers. The Sixers have really screwed with this kid. I wonder if his attorney thinks there could be possible legal action depending on the assessment of the specialist.

Why is his attorney recommending he see a specialist? Weird.

He's his agent.

I said he gave me Brandon Jennings vibes but I like this comparison more. Funny that the 2009-10 RoY race consisted of two guys who more or less peaked that year.

But yeah, I've had a bad feeling about Mitchell's development since early last year. He was a better scorer than anyone projected so he was given too much responsibility and leeway for a lack of efficiency.

Sixers medical staff continues to be the weirdest and most head-scratchingly inept in all of sports. After the Embiid and Simmons injury weirdness, how do you let the Fultz situation get this out of control?

And now Zhaire Smith as well. Didn’t I read something recently about a food allergy that will delay his return?

Looks like other writers are now calling this guy out for the legitimacy of his rumor.

Fultz's problems seem to be north of his shoulders.

WIth Fultz not developing, the 6ers lack depth. How many billets are left in the process chamber? Will they still be able to reload in the off-season or add at the deadline?

The process was over when they traded up for Fultz

Their three marquee draft choices have all recently missed a complete season and their most recent marquee acquisition has played north of 70 games only twice in 8 seasons.

Fultz could be an all-star and they still wouldn't have much depth, tbh.

Eh can't really blame them for Noel or Fultz. Okafor was terrible all things considered.

What am I missing with the Fultz thing? How is the team to blame?

They can't give a straight answer or diagnosis on a "shoulder injury" that's been lingering for more than a year now, and the franchise's history with accurately handling player rehab and disclosing injury information is atrocious. Don't see how they don't deserve a bunch of the blame here.

https://nba.nbcsports.com/2018/11/20/76ers-sound-caught-off-guard-about-markelle-fultz-stepping-away/

We thought it was the regular bumps and bruises.

There’s nothing that we saw medically that didn’t allow him to play.

This news about his shoulder, it did catch me off guard.

Like.....what? I don't know whether the front office and coaching staff is just denying, not communicating well enough with the medical staff, or they're just that naive.

Moving up and getting him wasn't a mistake. The mistake is everything that has happened afterwards, which is mostly on Fultz's end?
