Re: ATL Thread
I thought trading up for Fultz was a bad move from the start, was quite low on him. When I watched him in interviews it seemed like a brick might be smarter than him. To me, moving up was a huge mistake

Re: ATL Thread
Surprised we don't see more of that from Giannis with his long wind up power slams.

A lot of 2002 Bucks about the Wiz this year. They openly hate each other and just don’t care. All they need now is to deal Beal for a washed up PG like Rose.

Fournier attacked the rim as if Green was not there.
Oh wow, Green won this.

Wiz on track to beat Clips tonight. Up 8 with 34 seconds left. Put a hold on the trade ideas. Grunfeld’s master plan coming together.

Toronto looked fortunate to steal that game. Fournier was real good.

It's good how they didn't use Thon on that graph, so other teams will sleep on how efficient he has been.

It would not fit the picture. It would probably require log scale.

Trying to imagine how insane we'd all be if we were Sixers fans. That Fultz thing was a mistake of epic proportions. And likely is the reason they don't win an NBA title in the next five years.
They have Embiid, Simmons and still had the assets to get Jimmy Butler. Yet they could have had Tatum and the Kings pick as well.

Any Pardon My Take fans here? They suggested that Fultz do an ayahuasca journey to cleanse his jumpshot. That's about the only way this could get weirder.

The Sixers should be the post-Cavs East dynasty. Until Hinkie is officially with another team, I'll continue to hold out hope that we can bring him into our organization in some capacity. The Sixers getting rid of him is about equivalent to firing Bud to hire Kidd.

Re: ATL Thread
Someone can call me wrong on this but...They needed a scoring guard who could shoot and get into the paint. He would've been perfect for that team. Making the move and drafting Fultz over any of the other top rookies only looks terrible in hindsight.
I will say though. Hinkie drafts Tatum despite the fit and then people would be complaining about the logjam on the wing and having no point guard.

I can’t blame Colangelo for Fultz. He was a consensus #1 pick and exactly what they needed. If you watch his college game he’s pretty incredible. It’s unprecedented and baffling what has happened to him.
Ainge claims he would’ve taken Tatum with the 1 pick anyway but that’ll always be the sliding doors moment of this saga.

The trade looks bad in hindsight because fultz looks so different than college. It’s honestly inexplicable. Look at his highlights in college and how effortlessly he scores and how skilled he looks as a frosh.
Now? He looks like he’s losing his handle just walking the ball up court and his shot is destroyed. The monstars stole his skills basically. Plenty of people could argue they thought fultz was overrated, but there isn’t a single person that exists that expected or predicted what has happened.
