DJ Wilson Development Thread

Post#1 » by Jez2983 » Fri Dec 28, 2018 2:14 am

Yes folks, it's time to start that thread of hot takes. Make sure you pop them all in here so that your fellow cheeseburger-eating losers can rip on you for all of them in the future.

KG/Draymond/Rodman hybrid on D, Reggie Miller from deep on O

In all serious though, in a season where Thon has not been totally useless, where Henson was hitting threes and was traded with Delly, DJ becoming an NBA player may be the biggest surprise of all. You go Girlfriend.

Most likely player to be here in 7 years on the John Henson special contract.

Bites on every fake (with an insane ability to recover though) but other than that and maybe his finishing around the rim I have nothing to complain about. Honestly it looks like he's going to be a really, really good player.

Like, he's probably my second favorite player on this team right now.

I'd really like to know what turned the light on for him as a rebounder. I mean, he was always a terrible rebounder - even in college. Did the ghost of some great rebounder from Christmas past talk with him?

Super legit question. Even the biggest DJ fan couldn’t have imagined him beasting on the boards. Big weakness of his in college.

My theory is that DJ needed a player's coach like Bud, Kidd must have absolutely crushed his confidence by being the gruff disciplinarian **** that he is.

He went from sleepwalking out there to being court aware like Battier. Never seen a bigger shift in the BBIQ of a player ever.

Studies say DJ Island has more Supreme stores per capita than grocery stores.

Think it's simple. Stronger + playing with more intensity than ever before
