Fired Kidd. Then hired Bud. Who fired Kidd?

And Lasry admitted that he wanted Becky Hammon.

Even as big of a no-brained decision as hiring Bud wasn’t unanimous.

"Still, he is encouraged by the progress of the team under Budenholzer, who was Edens’ first choice. Lasry was advocating for Spurs assistant coach Ettore Messina but eventually realized that hiring a coach with previous NBA head coaching experience was the prudent decision.

“Wes said, ‘Let’s not risk it,’ and he was right,” Lasry said. “You can’t have an organization where no one makes a decision. He has the final say.” When the Bucks’ season ends, Lasry will have the final say when he replaces Edens on the Board of Governors."

That’s right. I was going off memory. Messina might have been solid. But you knew Bud was solid. And Bud has absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Right. Bud was sort of a no brainer.

He's crushing it... His moves have cleaned up so much junk and brought in replacements who are performing better than I could have imagined.

And DDV is growing into such an amazing player.

Is Lasry ever right? Dude is wrong when he wakes up in the morning and when his head hits the pillow.

Horst is on a uber hot streak. Hope they win several championships. The only blemish IMO.. 5 years to Middleton. WHY?

Everything coming up Milhouse for him for sure. He does enjoy to bid against himself when negotiating with his own free agents though.

You can say that about the GM of every overpaid player. And there are a LOT of them.

Budenholzer is the Giannis to Horst’s Pat Connaughton. Makes his life a lot easier.

Imagine if Ainge or Brand had made as few mistakes as Horst the past three years.

ESPN would lead every Celtics or Lakers introduction with a canonization into sainthood.

Can I bump my own thread?

Whatever people think of tonight's deals (personally I am a large fan), he's definitely not afraid to shake things up. Kudos.
