I'm with you and in agreement. Problem is, you have the same voices as the ones here on Gard but Pitino has less success to draw back on, an even more delusional fanbase, and an AD that thinks he can do another magical PJ Fleck hire.

Honestly, the funny thing is that the downfall of that program may be what people want here.

"Run some more exciting stuff so you get the NBA recruits!" Well, they would assuredly be an NCAA team this year with Amir Coffey, who left early. Next year they could boast a really good outlook coming into the year except Oturu may leave early and they'll fall back to a bubble/NIT team.

The funny thing is the Gopher fans I talk to think they aren't doing enough with local recruiting. I understand losing Dawson Garcia to Marquette being a head-scratcher (Marquette is a good program but it's not losing a guy to Duke) but they think that a new coach might be able to lure away the hometown guys that went to Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, etc. I've heard this one before.

They are playing great basketball right now but Trice just had made terrible decisions in a row on 3 straight possessions.

The other guys playing better is one thing to me, but Potter has been so much better (relatively) early than I expected. This is the Potter I was thinking we might see next season as a Senior. Being with the team and practicing is one thing, but I thought it would take longer for it to make sense for him in games. He still has a lot to figure out of course, but it makes me more excited for next season that he's so far along this season in where I expected him to be.

Yeah his basketball IQ will probably never get to where it needs to be, but as long as he's hitting shots and playing defense, he won't kill them out there.

Great first half from dem boys.

I’m assuming you hadn’t watched the last 5 games or so.

He’ll always make a few boneheaded plays but he has been excellent of late given his expected talent.

44 assists and 9 turnovers in the 9 games before this.

Yeah this one will be close at the end or Michigan will simply win it easy. Gotta hold on for dear life as usual.

He has been better recently, no question about it.

That is the one thing Potter is missing. He’s an athletic defender but had no idea to be prepared to help on a cutter that slipped right into the lane for a layup.

I think Gard should've went with Potter to start the half. Potter only had 1 PF and Nate 2.

Reuvers can sometimes foul to much and seemed like he got a cheap one for his 3rd foul.

Can't say I've been paying attention to recent games but i i thought having Nate was key late in the game for his D over Potter.

Ball movement and making shots makes a difference I guess.....the defensive effort is all over the place with this team.

Always enjoy beating Michigan, especially in their own house.

We need to be ranked after today.

Just caught the tail-end - did Juwan Howard completely blow-off Gard?

No, he shook his hand in the post-game handshake line. It was pretty pleasant.
