There’s always a lot of discussion on Bucks coverage and hoops media in general. Figured we could use a centralized hub for our takes on the takers. Be interested to know who you guys read and listen to, who you like and don’t.

I’ll kick things off by saying Frank Madden is the greatest of all time and we’re lucky to have him as the voice of Bucks fans.

This can also be everyone’s safe space to yell about Ryan Hollins without getting snapped at.

So i was prepared to hear his usual trash takes but i was pleasantly surprised by Colin here.Some intern probably wrote all that.

I started watching expecting terrible takes. I have to admit, I did not expect such ignorance and regurgitation of ideas that are absolutely not based in reality whatsoever.

He even mentioned how the Celtics managed to "scheme Simmons out of the series" last year as a reason for why Giannis will struggle in the playoffs. You know, the same year that Giannis had no problems against the Celtics, even when his team was employing a scheme in offense that did more to stop Giannis with the terrible spacing than any Celtics defender did.

One of the worst analyses of this Bucks' team I have seen.

I'll go with some of the media guys I've enjoyed and/or learned from this year.

Its obvious that Ryan Collins just says the most outrageous things- so they will ask him back on First Take. Hes nothing special really besides your basic talking head tv troll.

Don't over react. The media landscape is crowded. There is a difference between news and commentary. Commentators say outrageous things to gain attention. Don't over react.

Bart finally went hard and asked Gery to explain his 'schtick' and then called him "the greatest troll of them all"

and while it was great to have him called out on air like this while he babbled nonsense, it was also quite sad.

His relationship with the Bucks has become toxic. I'm all for free speech but writers like this shouldn't be granted media access if you just live off of trolling. The dude hasn't had a pro-Bucks take in a year (during their best season in 30 years btw). This has become downright sad.

I put Winkler somewhat in the same category as Sparky. Both I disagree with a lot but I'll give them credit for actually paying attention and taking their jobs seriously. Guys like Gery and Bill Michaels are pathetic for different reasons, but really bring that station down. I like mostly everyone else they've got but that afternoon dude with the hyena laugh has "change the station" heat with me
