The numbers on the supermax are crazy for anyone so I get that view. But if it's not for a 1st team all NBA player what is it for?
I just don’t think the supermax is justifiable to any player outside of like four or five guys. Dame is maybe a top 15- 20 guy imo.
The top 4-5 players (including Giannis) are worth double to triple the max and are generally even better than good players on rookie deals in terms of value. Suggesting Dame isn't worth the max because they trap him at 35 feet is comically absurd.
Now if you want to talk about CP3 or Khash getting max deals...

He's not wrong. Since the top 4 or 5 players can't get more than the super max, giving a top 15ish player a super max puts you at a disadvantage.

You guys aren't wrong. I think in one of my follow ups I think they know darn well they need a miracle to build a true contender. But what choice do they have, letting him go isn't an option. Plus, from the cap perspective you're basically capped out regardless if he's at 42 mil or 35, whatever it comes out. It probably doesn't affect moves you're allowed to make, but does play into tax the owner is willing to pay.

Tobes on the Kings could be a good fit.

In tragic news, third string Boomers centre Thon Maker has decided to sit out the upcoming FIBA World Cup to work on his game in the US over the summer.

To be fair, it looks like the Pistons decided he would sit it out.

Re: ATL: Conference Finals
I don't think they would have won the series or anything but I am still happy we didn't play the Hornets in the 1st round. Hornets were easily the best team to not make the playoffs this season. Opening night vs them and that game in January at Fiserv were 2 of the more entertaining games of our season. Hornets probably should have won both of them lol.

I keep seeing game 6 for Durant's return. That's pretty good for anyone going to the finals.

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

How does a, let’s face it, pretty mediocre OKC team get two all NBA selections? Really highlights how someone like WB is trading on name and past glories. Triple double season though I guess...

I think if WB and PG had our rotation players instead of their rotation players they'd be in the WCF now.
In other words, if their rotation could shoot at all.
