Put it in the other thread, but Travis Best’s three from the corner to win game five in Indy is still one of my all time downers.

We had Karl and the big three and Tim Thomas looked like he’d be better than any of them. We were so close to shutting up Reggie Miller and sending him home.

Who botched the defensive assignment?

None other than Bucks Assistant Darvin Ham. Collapsed on Rose in the lane. Was late to respond. Well, he was attempting to cover two birds with one stone - Reggie at the 3 elbow extended. Left Best wide open in the corner as a result. Rest is history.

Defensive strategy, however, looked eerily similar.

Toughest losses in my life are the Badgers in the championship game, game seven last year in the NLCS, and tonight.

Yeah that's where I'm at too. The Packers losses have been bad, but we have won a couple of super bowls in my lifetime. This one hurts more than any Packer recent losses. Although I was crushed after 07 since I thought that was the last stand for Favre and an end to an era. I thought we had this one up 76-61. No doubt in my mind and now I wake up to that baiting ESPN article about Giannis leaving. The sense of urgency is already here and that shouldn't be the case. I'm a run a back (minus Hill/Mirotic) guy, but will expect bad things to happen.

Of the two choices, 4th and 26 was much more painful and it's not really close at all. It was one completely longshot play, easy to defend, and the Packers blow it. Yeah, the Raptors went on a 26-3 run, but even if they hadn't, there was still plenty of time for them to make a comeback from when the Bucks had their biggest lead. And even during the run, the Bucks still had their chances.

If we are sticking to the 2 original choices, it simply can't be 26-3 because even if it didn't happen, we would have to win another game on top of closing out Game 6.

We stop 4th and 26, we advance.

This is more like Packers 1995-96 to me, but we don't have Reggie White.

This team closely resembles the 2005 Mavs that choked in the Finals (with the refs helping Wade). Up 2-0, had a chance to win Game 3, but fell short and ended up posing 4 in a row.

Yeah, there are some parallels to losing that 1995 season NFC title game down in Dallas. Favre could just never turn the corner that night, similar to the Bucks.

In the moment 4th and 26 was more devastating. That's the equivalent of a guy making a full court heave and getting fouled to win the game.

But that was sandwiched by two Super Bowls. If Giannis were to leave in the next few years this could haunt the franchise for another half century.

As an Eagles fan and a Raptors fan, I would think 4th and 26 would be worse from the opposite perspective.

Hey, at least you got to see the Bears lose on the "double doink". I'm sure you guys enjoyed that .

I would say "Double OT Game 3" was worse. We were a couple shots from basically punching our ticket to the finals.

Team still lost 4 in a row. Doing so up 3-0 would be 100x worse (and yes, being a Wisconsin team, I'd fully expect that to occur).

Confidence was broken in games 5/6. I don't think they lose 4 in a row if we win game 3.

Just realized we were talking Eagles/Packers in January of 2004. For this whole thread my mind didn't read the title but focused on the Seahawks collapse, which negated any bad memories from 4th and 26th.

Yeah the Seattle game is by far the worst thing I've experienced as a fan in any sport.

They were both bad but the Seattle game takes the cake EASILY. That was a complete choke job, almost to the point where the Seahawks maybe had a 1% chance at winning it.

I was stuck working the worst job I've ever had during the Seattle game. I always worked Sundays so I recorded every game. I never had an issue with spoilers. I never let anyone turn the game on the radio but I was basically overruled for this game. I got them to turn it off at half and I was feeling great. We were SB bound.

This store already sucked ass without the Packers playing but it was a ghost town. One lady came the entire night, right around the time I figured the game was ending. She asked if I knew what happened and I said no don't say anything. I just knew Wilson had like 4 INTs or something and we were kicking their ass. I couldn't read her which gave me a bad feeling. She says she won't spoil it for me and she's on her way out. She stops at the door, turns back around and says "man they really **** blew it this time" and she left. Heart dropped. I had no idea how it ended still so I went home and turned on the recording. Before opening kickoff they panned around Seattle's stupid crowd and that's as far as I watched. I've seen the onside kick, but still never watched that game.

Worst all-time, not for us but just in general has to be the Falcons blowing a 28-3 3rd quarter lead in the Super Bowl. Even as bad as the Packers Seahawks game was, we still wouldn't have necessarily won the Super Bowl even if we had won that game. The Falcons had it and they still would have had it if they took a knee 3 times and kicked a FG after that spectacular Julio Jones catch late in the 4th quarter. The Packers Seahawks game still felt like more of a choke amazingly than the Falcons Patriots Super Bowl.

Worst Bucks Loss - Game 7 of '74 finals. At home. Coming right after Kareems epic hook shot in game 6 to win.

Worst Brewer Loss - Game 7 of '82 World Series. After going ahead late on a Ben Ogilvie homer.

Worst Packer Loss - Seattle 2015.
