I think Tucker is a legit knock down shooter. He gets ignored when he’s wide open quite a bit (as everyone does in summer league).

I thought I was going to come on the board and read how everyone is sad because we passed up those nice rooks from Boston.

Oh, I'm definitely keeping the Carsen Edwards card in my back pocket.

Signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Celts. Ship has sailed.

Lol at Allen getting 2 flagrants in 7 seconds and getting tossed. And a tech earlier in the game.

https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/story/2019-07-11/daulton-hommes-nba-summer-league-milwaukee-bucks-point-loma-nazarene-division-ii

The Div. II national player of the year at Point Loma Nazarene is on the Bucks’ summer league roster and has acquitted himself well, averaging 8.8 points through four games in 16.3 minutes while shooting 57.9 percent from the field and 6 of 11 behind the longer NBA 3-point arc. He’s 9 of 9 from the line.

That the Bucks grabbed the 6-8 sharpshooter soon after the 60-pick draft wasn’t a surprise. They were among the first teams to venture to the tiny campus to see a preseason practice, and Hommes estimates they scouted 10 games live.

How soon?

“Right away, like a few minutes,” Hommes said. “They called it the 61st pick.”

“Our front office and scouting department have a good understanding that it’s a small market,” Longstaff said of Milwaukee. “You’ve got to turn over every rock, every stone, and find the players that fit Coach (Mike Budenholzer’s) system and fit around our guys. They’ve done a great job of that. Daulton is an example.”

That's great to read. Hope he's given a contract shortly.

How has Hommes and Bryant looked on the defensive end? Intrigued by both.

Hommes and Tucker have good size for their positions. I would like to see them connected to the team somehow in order to work one year on their game.

Landale and Bryant have nice skills, but due to size/speed I think they can only be effective in G-league, Euroleague.

Bonzi is more NBA ready of the bunch, but I don't know if we really need another power forward...

Don’t forget, exhibit 10 contracts offer a guaranteed 50k, training camp invite and the security of knowing which organization’s G-league team you’ll be with. Not a bad option for an undrafted player.

The Milwaukee Bucks have offered a two way contract to Bronson Koenig, PG from LaCrosse.

Not interested in Bryant. He gets stripped of the ball too many times. A point guard with a loose handle is not what any team wants. I'd rather have the guard from Notre Dame who looked much better than Bryant.

I agree on Hommes-intriguing skill set. I also agree on signing Tucker. Landale is not as skilled as Christian Wood and the Bucks let him go, so no.

This take is just...whew.

“I’ll take that gritty, spazzy midget from ND over the smooth controlled efficient 6’5” combo guard!”
