Might just continue to bake bread every few days for the smell my oven makes.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7479061/Mom-claims-Ukrainian-daughter-9-adopted-really-22-year-old-dwarfism.html

Indiana mother who adopted 6-year-old Ukrainian girl with dwarfism has been charged with abandonment but claims her 'daughter' was found to be a 22-year old 'sociopath' masquerading as a child

That is the craziest thing I've read in awhile.

I did, but didn't make it to the top, I did about 100 yards of the chains.

We started a bit late, and I simply didn't feel safe with 400 of my closest "friends" on those chains. The amount of people who didn't have steady legs or footing going up put me off from getting to the summit (not to mention that going down was much harder than going up!)

This is literally the plot of the movie Orphan. Almost exactly. I think it was even Ukraine where the girl was originally from.

Yeah that's the first thing I thought of. Instead of scary though, this is just sad.

I have one in the freezer from two years ago, can I swing by to drop it off?

The correct kringle flavor ranking:

1) Almond
2) Pecan
3) Cherry

Thanks.

It's not a competition, but if it was, I would die long before a champion was crowned.

I have no idea what a kringle is. Wouldn't even have been able to come up with a guess.

Seriously? Is it just a Southeastern WI thing? Can't be.

It's definitely a SE WI thing, as most of the people I meet who rave about Kringles focus on those you can get in Racine. You can get them elsewhere, too - Lane's Bakery on the South Side of Madison is known for having good Kringles.

But I don't think they're anything special, tbh. They're not on my personal list of favorite desserts. I wouldn't push one away if it was offered, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to get.

O&H in Racine for Kringles. They have a location in Oak Creek too I believe.

1. Cream Cheesecake
2. Cinnamon Roll
3. Cherry Cheese
4. Cherry
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
