Thanks, vital. This is awesome, I really appreciate the time that you took to write this up and share. I appreciate it! If I'm in Denver a lil before or after the rest of the group shows up, I'd be glad to buy ya a beer or a blunt, ha!

If you're going to go up in altitude, talk to your doctor about it and get some Diamox. It can help a ton in avoiding altitude sickness.

Also, be prepared to drink a TON of water your first two days in Denver to help your body acclimate.

My list of hiking spots

You will probably want to ignore the "time to TH" as we were staying in Boulder when I was there last. Every 500 feet of elevation change is worth about an extra mile of hiking - usually.

Happy to answer any specific questions. Wish I could help more w/ breweries and such, but I haven't been to Denver in 4 years now :)

Yeah, the altitude will be interesting, but we're all young and in good shape. We'll party but we don't drink too much. Thanks for hiking list, I love that there'll be more options than we can handle!

Venus fell to 15 year old Coco Gauff today, the youngest player to ever qualify for Wimbledon in the open era. Venus is Coco's idol, and won 4 of her 7 majors before Coco was born.

Amazing story.

Hey Twirl, what's the big Admirals announcement on 7/18?
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I know some are sick of Djokovic/Nadal/Fed in men's tennis, but don't hold your breath anytime soon for a changing of the guard. Zverev, Tsitsipas, and Thiem all lost in the first round at Wimbledon the past two days.

As mentioned above with Coco Gauff along with many others, things are more promising for some fluidity and new faces on the women's side.

What's a good easy dish to pass at a 4th party?

I think it’s easy, some don’t, but buffalo chicken dip is my favorite. Any dip is easy, beer cheese, spinach artichoke, etc.

Aside from dips...

Cocktail meatballs, pigs in a blanket/pretzel, any kind of vegetable plate.

Agree on dips; Ashley Reese had this recipe on the GMG blogs a few months ago for Spinach Artichoke Dip that was extremely easy to make and so damn good: https://jezebel.com/1832266339

Another super easy thing is to make some shredded chicken for sandwiches. If you've got a crockpot/slow cooker, it's essentially set-and-forget.

I always cut up polish or italians and fry them. Stick in some toothpicks and you got sausage charcuterie.

Allow me to take a guess and say a game at Miller Park possibly with a Badgers game as well.

Anyone else think fireworks are super lame? Maybe as a kid it was cool, but I feel like adults get into it just as much. The worst is when I see grown adults filming fireworks. You're never going to watch that video. Just stop.

It's lame when you're a kid too.

I don't mind firework shows generally. I do mind dumbasses who are firing them off at 3AM outside of my window.
