From the NBA's most improved player in 2017 to its most valuable last time out, Giannis Antetokounmpo has risen inexorably to become the standout dominant force in a league of dominant forces.
In spearheading the Milwaukee Bucks’ transformation from perennial underachievers to genuine championship contenders, ‘The Greek Freak’ has proven that the relative confines of a small market franchise need not be an impediment to global superstardom. A complete and superbly consistent performer on the court, not to mention a socially engaging personality with a huge and loyal following off it, this 6’11 power forward has, almost single-handedly, turned the Bucks into a national story and an international brand in their own right.
Once a seller of knock-off sunglasses and watches on the streets of Athens, Giannis now helps hawk Nike products - including his newly released signature shoe, the Freak 1 - in markets around the world. His larger-than-life likeness is emblazoned on billboards on both sides of the Atlantic. More endorsements are inevitable.

That's why I hate it when people say he was raw when he arrived in the NBA. The guy was never raw, he was just thin. His technique was always advanced, and his shooting stroke was much more fluid when his arms looked almost human (and before JKidd fckd with his confidence).

Giannis isn't the bet player in the league. He is the best player in the league.blazza18 wrote:SI have wrongly put Giannis as the bet player in the league and there is not one single post about it?

Have to wonder at what point Giannis gets recognized as the best player in the league. Overdue at this point imo
