Yeah, not really worried about the Nets, this year at least. It's basically going to be Irving and a worse supporting cast than he had with the Celtics.

I don't think anyone likes this contract, especially with the player option. Also, I think that this is going to bite us in the ass sometime in the future.

It is what it is though, we knew that this was a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. The important thing now is to keep Brogdon.

If Durant returns from his Achilles injury at 32 years old exactly the player he was then maybe they have an argument. As it stands now there is no chance they are better than us. Hating Middleton's contract has no bearing on how good of a team the Bucks will be next year. I'm not sure why some can't separate those two things in this discussion.

**** insane that Tony Snell isn't going to have the worst contract with a player's option offered by Jon Horst.

Report: Khris Middleton has informed the Bucks that he plans to opt in to that Fifth Year as soon as the ink dries on that contract.

Don't like it but I'm not going to cry about it. Looking forward to October.

He'll opt out I'm pretty sure.

Like, if there's any way that Middleton lives up to his **** contract (which I doubt, but that's water under the bridge) then you give him the option to opt out and sign an even more ludicrous one a year early? And if he **** the bed then you're stuck with him (which is unfair criticism since you'd be stuck with him on a guaranteed year anyways). Take that EOTY trophy away!

How can you possibly say that after this past season?

Not thrilled, was really hoping that 5th year was at least a TO. Middleton 'apologists', prepare for a very busy five years.

Anyway, if we can bring one of Brogdon or Hill back at this point, I don't really have a beef with bringing back almost all of a 60 win team, even if I hate this particular deal.

I'm assuming Bud had to give his blessing for this deal and that honestly surprises me.

Franchise crippler.

My prediction: When Horsty realizes 2 years from now that we are pissing away Giannis prime by tethering him to a lazy drunk, we will trade Midds, with ample assets attached, for a John Salmonsesque return. Depressing. Bucks gonna Buck.

I pray to God that Kawhi goes West. We absolutely must make the Finals next season.

He’s not our number 2. That’s kinda the point. He’s our 4 or 5, which is why the contract is so monumentally dumb.

If he were our number 2 then we’d be screwed.
