Beal's supermax #'s are crazy:

I have a hard time seeing the Wizards really wanting to pay all that (alongside John Wall's corpse) even if they want to continue gunning for a middling playoff seed year after year.

Not sure if the Bucks would either. Beal would be making almost triple Brogdon's salary by the end of it.

Of course this is just academic if Beal doesn't make an All NBA team to earn a supermax. But still.
