Same boat, and while the 6 fouls ain't pretty, the 12 points, 7 boards, 2 assists and 1 block in just 18 minutes is pretty darn good.

Monta Ellis would be a richer man in a world where sub-52 TS% is considered ok.

Bender has become really good finisher around the rim for a huge guy who never dunks.

The Bulls should be embarrassed that we sat Giannis, Middleton, Bledsoe, Hill, Ilyasova and Korver and still put wood to them on their court simply by proving that our system works with G-Leaguers better than their system works with their full roster. Brutal outing for the Bulls, who look to have nothing outside of WCJ and Markannen. Oof.

I was entirely joking guys. Everyone knows that Ersan is the super-charged Mehmet Okur, cuz that's how this works. I'll settle for Bender being super-charged Kukoc though.

Bender definitely got more confident/assertive as the game went along. I want him to hang out with Darvin Ham a lot.

Just finished watching the game and I'm pleased with the new guys. Robin looks great, he has a nice hook shot and a better postgame than Brook, and he provided a big presence defensively with 3 blocks in the game. Matthews played well on both ends of the floor. Mason looks like a solid third PG to backup Bledsoe and Hill. Bender looks like a solid third center to backup Brook and Robin.

Thanasis is good defensively and rebounding, but wild on the offensive end and he's a bad FT shooter. Reynolds was awful in the game with too many TOs.

Brook played great on both ends of the floor. Sterling and Pat played very well and look like capable replacements for the departed Brogdon. Donte was very energetic and aggressive, but a little wild in the offensive end.

Great game, one of most fun non-Giannis games in a while. Donte looks good, Brown is slimmer and looking quicker. Bender is at least interesting, there's stuff to work with if he's more willing than Christian Wood to patiently learn his craft in the background. He has great feel for passing. Dude is some kind of weird Bogut/Bargnani hybrid.

Why exactly?
The bigges issue with the team was Felecio. He sabotaged the scheme because he is useless. The Bulls were missing players. Your team are veterans and vets normally out play younger players. The Bulls are installing a new system.

What exactly is there to be embarrassed about? You have championship goals the Bulls are hoping to compete for the playoffs. You only need a couple of players to workout.

God knows you guys have only Giannis and Kris from your team we beat the last time we played in the play offs.

Why would any team be embarrassed about a preseason game?
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I wouldn't be embarassed so much as I'd probably be re-evaluating my playoff aspirations.

It's a pre-season game. It literally means nothing.

K.

Their core though, it literally means everything. That core minus WCJ wasn't just beat, they were kicked in the teeth by the Lopez twins and Wes Matthews and to be entirely frank, it just wasn't much of a surprise. They won 22 games last year. The necessary leap they'd need to make in order to get to that "playoff" aspiration level is MAMMOTH and they're returning 9 guys from that 22 win squad. Those aspirations are putting the cart before the horse.

What this game serves as is reality check number 1. There are quite a few more in store.

Wes instead of OJ would have been interesting a few years ago.

I would be embarrassed if the people I planned on trotting out during the regular season got the **** kicked out of them by like 3 rotational players (maybe 1 starter?) and a bunch of inactives and G-Leaguers.
