I mean if Giannis simply was a better FT shooter we win the title last season, that's what I want him to work on most this season.

I have a feeling in my gut this team is better than last years, I don't know how you deal with this plethora of shooters and defenders around Giannis. Most importantly though they are already bought in and play as a team. Let's get the RS started

How did Donte look?

He played a good overall game particularly defensively. Wes started the game, Dante got the start in the 2nd half with the rest of the starting lineup minus Bled who was out with injury.

I think he could end up being hard to not have on the floor even with all the depth.

yeah, idk how much is going to change from last year. we started off last regular season with a huge number of three point attempts and it seemed to have tapered off a little as the season went on. i wonder if this is just Bud hammering home a philosophy and wanting guys to chuck right now while more nuanced approaches will kick in later on.

i will say.. i really hope the plan isn't strictly Giannis driving and dishing when they collapse again. We need to be a lot more creative.

I will also say.. Holy F.uck does Giannis look good already.

Where people will be pleasantly surprised is RoLo’s defense. As a backup center, he’s really talented. He’s also more mobile on defense than Brook, so we won’t be forced into small ball quite as often this season.

The Bucks will also see the difference when they go up against Gasol in Toronto or Embiid in Philly. Shame they couldn’t have gotten him in a sign and trade from the Bulls for Jabari. He might have been the difference against the Raptors last May.
