Bender has been good. Hard not to advocate for him making the roster/playing sparingly.

Mason III and Thanasis should trade contracts

Suns fans have to be grinding their teeth to nubs. He's not as good as the box scores look, Phoenicians!

Still, though: thanks!

Was impressed that Bender caught it cleanly.

Also just want to point out that Ersan was 5-7 on 3s but took one shot after a whistle that missed the basket by a solid two feet. Thus all criticisms are warranted.

Are we still holding pitchforks that we let Christian Wood go?

Because Bender is better than him.

"Lotto talent" needs quotation marks.

I think he has a lot more to show, hes finally in an environment where he can just hoop pressure free.

A team ready to contend for champion is less pressure environment then bottom dwelling Suns?

No pressure on him to be the #4 draft pick that’s supposed to lift our franchise from the basement

I didn't like Mirotic to be honest. Not the version we saw / had. Other than the assets given to get him, I saw him as no loss at all this offseason.

So yeah, easy Bender > Mirotic.

It would be wonderful if he ends up contributing for us this year and isn't just insurance. He couldn't be in a better spot to shine. As long as when he gets his chance he's ready and capitalizes on it. He's more skilled than Robin and may be more suited to this modern day ball with 7 footers needing to be able to stretch the floor. It's going all be about heart, desire and effort. Robin has that in spades, does Bender?

Are we going cut Bender for Tim Frazier?

Yesterday Giannis was dominating of course, but the second best player was clearly Ersan. Then Donte and Bender. Middleton had some gorgeous passes and a few shots where the ball did not touch the rim --- beautiful shots, but somehow the pace of the offense did not quick sync well with Km's strengths it looked like. Middleton needs to be the # 2 player in most games for us to do well.

Also so far we are not missing Brogdon that much. I know it is preseason, but still.

1. Wait till February 1st, he’ll be ready by then. Always that way.

2. Horst needed to write in that contract NO INTERNATIONAL PLAY. He always gets tired and worn out by the time camp rolls around.

or wait a few minutes when all of a sudden he couldn't miss lol. that was a quick change
