Not sure of all of the details yet but some tweets that the NCAA is allowing payers to be paid for their name and likeness now. The details will probably tell us how much the landscape will be shaken up (or maybe just stay the same but now we can just see how much Coach K was paying guys).

Nice job by the NCAA, trying to make things more exciting again...

They lengthened the 3 point line to "open things up" and scoring is down. I don't think it's really generating much more driving to the basket and 3p shooting is down.

**** for Memphis but probably good for Wiseman where no he won't get picked apart in the draft process.

I do admire the way Penny thought he'd be able to come in and Calipari Memphis to the top. The NCAA wasn't gonna have any of it, unfortunately.

NCAA just hates itself. They need all the stars they can get. I couldn't even pay attention to the big 4 on Tuesday. Games were sloppy and boring.

He gave them money over a decade ago. It's disgusting behavior by the NCAA (but par for the course).

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

It was 2018. Woj corrected his original tweet.

Memphis has now (also) ruled Wiseman ineligible, and Wiseman has dropped his lawsuit. Memphis is appealing with the NCAA to reinstate him.

What I'm curious about is how this affects Memphis should the ban be upheld. They played Wiseman in a game even after he was ruled ineligible. There was a court-issued stay, but the understanding I picked up at the time was that Memphis could still be held accountable (e.g. post season ban) if in fact he was ruled ineligible. That's not really clear to me and I haven't seen clarification. Anyone know?

The Duke gym looks really small (I realise it's not).
