Way too early, but if the Bucks get the Pacers pick late teens or low 20s, how about Oshkosh native Tyrese Haliburton? It'd be like having Brogdon, Jr., with his efficiency and court IQ.

I wouldn't say no - though I'm not sure how durable he'll be unless he gets a lot stronger.

I love him. I think he's starting to figure out that he's one of the best players playing in college today. Hard to imagine he'll be there for us, although I've felt that way about guys before, and they were there. Some of them even sucked.

You should root for him to start playing a lot worse if you want him to be a Buck. :D

If Haliburton goes top 10, pretty wild that you have WI natives going so high in consecutive years between him and Herro. Bunch of WI guys being drafted but not lottery usually—even all-stars Porter, Van Exel, outside the lottery.

Ok, looked it up, there were a few years of lottery picks in the early 00s, Caron, Reece Gaines, Devin Harris.

Yeah, Maryland is good and Penn State was favored, should’ve been ranked. Badgers are going to be run through an absolute gauntlet to start the full B10 slate.

I know I'm an old man yelling to get off my lawn and that we should just celebrate the accomplishment, but this is ridiculous.

Wayland Baptist guard J.J. Culver had a performance for the ages Tuesday night, becoming just the second player in NAIA history to score at least 100 points in a game.
...
Culver, a 6-foot-5 senior from Lubbock, Texas, and the older brother of Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Jarrett Culver, reached the magical mark to lead his Pioneers to a 124-60 rout over Southwestern Adventist in Plainview, Texas.

He was 34-for-62 from the field, including 12-for-33 from 3-point range, and 20-for-27 from the free throw line. The rest of Culver's teammates combined to go 8-for-15 from the field and 5-for-6 from the line, while the next-highest scorer on the team was Jonathan Robinson, who finished with eight points.

You have to be a special kind of hot to score 100, so sure...even though he shot just over 50% from the field, maybe his teammates just wanted to feed him the ball.

But then to leave him in the game while you pummel a team by 64?

:blank:

I know, I'm a buzzkill.

Wild Kansas/Kansas State fight. Like, legit bench-clearing brawl that sprawled into the on-court seating.

That Kansas kid should at the minimum be done for the year.

He didn't hit anyone with it, though. I couldn't get a clear look but it seemed like he dropped it after having second thoughts.

Someone on Twitter said a coach took it out of his hands.

Thank goodness for that. He's an idiot for thinking that grabbing a chair was the right thing to do.

Dude, there’s heat of the moment.. and then there’s literally picking up a chair above your head. And whether he had a second thought or it was taken from him doesn’t make a difference to me- once you’re holding a stool above your head with malicious intent over a basketball game- you’re a psychopath.

He’s the same guy that started the whole thing. The k-state guy was a knob for going for the steal and lay up in a game that’s already decided and as the Kansas player I could see being annoyed by that but feeling the need to walk over the player on the ground yelling after the block was one of the most unnecessary things I’ve ever witnessed. Dude is nuts.
