Imagine dropping a couple hundred bucks for some decent seats at the Staples Center to take your kid to see Giannis vs. Kawhi and instead you get Wes Matthews vs. Landry Shamet. Definitely disappointed cause I wanted to see how Giannis would play against the guy who everybody said destroyed him last year (conveniently forgetting that Fred Van Vleet shot 5032393213%).

Clippers are missing their 2 star players and the Bucks are only favored by 1? That dog won't hunt.

I got 650 on the bucks +1 before Kawhi was announced out.

If we can't beat the Clips in LA minus Kawhi and PG why are we watching these games?

Yeah I don't trust any team from Wisconsin to play a good game in LA.

Kawhi sitting out this game for load management is actually ridiculous and should be criticized. We're 7 games into the season and the Clippers haven't played since Sunday.

The NBA is hurting their product with this ****. If the season is too long, eliminate conferences and have everyone play twice. Such an easy solution. The ratings will continue to plummet if this keeps up.

It's a bad look for the league but I'm not sure if they can or should do anything about it. Eliminating back-to-backs would be the simplest solution, but load management is just the new reality and is gonna happen even with games between off days. You're investing so much money in these guys and the regular season has always been pretty meaningless for the true contenders. I don't like the idea of a 60-game season either. That's too drastic of a reduction in games and not a reasonable solution.
