And one of his biggest “doubters” shows up to run him down a bit more and try to defend his terrible positions.

Still backing those “this team would be much better with Joe ingles” plays or “ I don’t know what I am more excited about seeing this team win without Giannis or lose because of Khris”. Did you dust that one off for the conference finals?

No idea what you're on about?

Haven't seen you post on here for ages but kudos for staying mad over a debate we had over 2 years ago. Hope we win the title so you can go nuclear on all of us while we're celebrating.

Just read over an old thread.

So you actually think we can win? That’s surprising coming from David Dunn’s wingman.

No need to go nuclear. Not even mad. Enjoying the hell out of the run win or lose. Just saying people don’t get clean slates from saying dumb things. It funny that going back and mocking people for bad takes is now going nuclear.

When I'm not mad I tell everyone about it just to head off any potential confusion.

Acquaintance at the grocery store: Hey, man! What's up?

Me: Same old. Not mad, calmer than you. Yourself?

Acquaintance: Oh, you know how it is. Not even mad. Laughing actually. Alright bud say hi to the fam.

They don't like each other. :falloff:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/bucks/2021/07/13/giannis-antetokounmpo-khris-middleton-grew-together-leading-bucks/7957996002/

Khris Middleton wrote:It just shows that we grew as players and as a team that we no longer have to beat each other up during practices to make each other better,” Middleton said. “Now it came to, ‘OK, how do we win a game together?’ We were on separate (practice) teams back then, practicing, clawing against each other. Now we're on the same (practice) team because we need that chemistry to form so that we're able to go into a game and play together and co-exist out there at the same time...

...
We're still confident players. He could be right here and I will tell you I'm better than him and he'll say the same thing. That's just who we are. That's why we love each other so much. But at the same time, we have two totally separate games.”

This. There's the whole off season to do deep dives into everyone's past posts. Enjoy the ride we're currently on.

So when do we start using the WD-40 or Baby Joe Johnson nicknames for Khris as per his Basketball-Reference page?

If, IF, we win, we need a mea culpa thread so every can own up to years of terrible takes, namely involving Bud, Midds and Horsty.

And who was it calling Giannis uncompetitive in the Brooklyn series?! That was my fave of the bad takes I’ve seen here in a while (full disclosure I have many shockers too  )

Not mad (laughing, actually), but I think I was pretty clear that being not mad is a constant state of vigilance against perceptions I might be mad.

The Bill Simmons podcast last night was essentially a love letter to Giannis and the Bucks for winning the title. He and House offered all sorts of compliments to everyone. I wish everyone would shut up, until the team actually wins Game 6.

Yeah I really don't like those vibes. Let's just play the game.

I will not lie, I didn't post around then for my mental stability. But I've been through far many off seasons in the Kohl era on this board to quit on this team :D

I hate seeing the media and casual fans act as if we already won. I'm **** terrified. 2 games left and we all know it's basically a toss up as to which Bucks team shows up. I'd like the to think that this postseason run has matured our guys enough to block everything out and just play but all you hear/see in the media is how we already won. Do not like.

I think the guys will be very locked in tomorrow. But the Suns are no scrubs. They’ve been shooting the ball well and if they get on a heater they can win game 6.

We’re favourites to finish it tomorrow and deservedly so but it’s no lock. Equally a game 7 in Phoenix would be a lottery too. I think that’s why this has been a sneaky great finals. The two teams are evenly matched.

I had absolutely zero panic after game 2. We’re better.
still learning the game
