"Several weeks" sure seems "serious" enough.

Injuries are never good, but the timing of this ain't gonna be bad. Gives Sterling and Donte some more minutes as the schedule lightens up.

Also, hopefully this pauses the Midds bashing in damn near every thread until he inevitably come back. Need a respite from that.

Do not like "Several weeks" at all.

There's no serious damage but he's still going to need several weeks to recover?

Does not compute.

Bummer for him. Didn't expect it to be even this bad.

Time for the younger dudes to take advantage of this opportunity

Shams was off on the Bledsoe injury timeline as well. Several seems like a hedge here. That injury didn’t seem that bad.

Yeah this sucks. It didn't look that serious in the game, but it's unfortunate he'll be out.

He may not be an ultra super mega star like his contract says he is, but he's a damn good basketball player and he helps this team win.

The upside is obviously we now get to see what we really have in Sterling and Donte

Long ass time for a bruise.

He got injured at work, he's rehabbing at work.

We won't miss a beat and then everyone will say but the schedule was easier ignoring the fact that we dodged Kawhi and George and Jimmy and KAT and to a lesser extent Jaylen

To me, this just shows that Middleton isn't that tough. But maybe he doesn't need to be and it's smart to take all the necessary time.

Several weeks for a bruise, though?  :noway:

3-4 weeks for a thigh contusion? Is that normal?

Bummer. Would certainly rather have it happen in November as opposed to later in the season though.

Middleton is vastly overpaid, but losing a top 4 player in your team is never a good thing if you don’t replace him.

Several weeks seems like a crazy long time for a muscle bruise though.
