Just in case any of y’all are unaware, PS5 preorders begin tomorrow and you might even be able to get lucky and find a place to preorder tonight.

Definitely hoping there’s enough around for me to get one preordered.

Pre orders have been available at Wal-Mart today but it looks like they're out of stock as of now.

Oh well. I wasn't super motivated to get it at launch, anyway.

Honestly **** however this went down. They said it would go live tomorow, so I wasn't checking, and now every retailer is sold out because it went live an hour ago.

Like I know this very obviously is a first world problem, and it's not that big of a deal, but damnit if it isn't frustrating. Video games have gotten me through the pandemic and I wanted to get a PS5 locked down. Hoping some inventory still opens up tomorrow...

I got mine at Target. Kept giving me an error when I tried to check out but I hit submit like 10 times and it finally went through

The backwards compatibility of these machines makes it almost a certainty that I'll be picking up the disk drive versions of both.

I actually haven't ever bought a console at launch either, so I have no idea :lol:

I think I got a PS4 maybe a year later. I was just a few years out of college when it came out and I had to allocate my money elsewhere. Before that I was either broke or a kid, lol.

Yeah, I don't see a technological reason why I shouldn't be able to play those downloads and keep the save data, unless they just want to **** over a bunch of people.

Every console claims you should pre-order them but I've walked into Target on Hwy100 & National at 8am for like the last 4 releases and got one on launch day.
