Game 47: Wizards at Bucks - 7:00 FSN - Giannis Out

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Tue Jan 28, 2020 12:24 am

Washington is in the hunt for a top lotto pick and are 6-19 on the road.

Bucks go for their 9th straight. They'll be rusty, this will be just their second game over the last 8 days. And it's a light week with games Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, all at home.

Bucks favored by 16. 120-104 would be a push.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Didn't even think of that until you posted. How does Giannis respond to tragedy? Dunk everything and mean mug 4 mamba!

Out of control Giannis isn't very good. While I know he'll be extra motivated I hope he plays within the flow of the game.

Wizards have one of the worst defenses in NBA history. I'd be shocked if the Bucks don't at least drop 140 they (Wiz) just gave up 152 to the freaking Hawks. :nonono:

Anything less than 824 would be disrespectful.

Need the crowd to show up for this one so we can give Beal a tease of what it will be like for him next season after he forces his way to us in the summer.

The real question is how soon the Bucks take out Giannis. Halftime? No, it's a classic trap game! Wash coming off a humiliating defensive performance v Atl actually has had some good games lately - including an OT loss to Miami.

This year's Isaiah Thomas might be the worst defensive guard in NBA history.

Probably add 20 to each team's scores.

144-118

Giannis goes for 60, and sets the franchise single game scoring record....

One of the few games unironically colored as a trap game. First game back from Europe after a relatively quick turnaround from Paris, the hangover settling in over the league post-Kobe and the general malaise of the immediate pre-All Star game stretch. It's gonna be a slog and a loss won't shock me.

I think Giannis will come out disjointed, awkward, and try to do too much too early. Eventually he’ll calm down and put together a coherent game and the Bucks win closer than it should be.
