Wizards are one of those teams that play zero defense but could score 140+. If we have a bad shooting night it could get ugly

Bucks go for their 9th straight. They'll be rusty, this will be just their second game over the last 8 days. And it's a light week with games Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, all at home.

Bucks favored by 16. 120-104 would be a push.

Final game of the week is Sunday afternoon. But that's against Phoenix and there is no way a bottom feeder Suns team could ever beat a 60-win juggernaut like the Bucks.

If the injury report is shoulder soreness that is more encouraging than more back or knee issues.

In their entire history Phoenix has only won one measly game at Fiserv.

Sucks about Giannis, though it is understandable. I watched a bit of this interview where he talks about the passing of Kobe. You could tell how affected he is, and how he didn't really want to talk about it. He also brought up the passing of his Dad. I imagine losing Kobe has brought back a lot of the feelings from when he lost his father while also trying to process what has happened now. I didn't expect the passing of Kobe to affect me as much as it did, and a big part of that was losing my mother a few years ago to cancer. Thinking about Kobe's family brought back a lot of emotions from that time. I can imagine Giannis is going through similar emotions on top of losing someone he had a huge amount of respect for that was also a mentor to him.

Anyway, here's the interview if people haven't seen it. Take all the time you need, Giannis.

Bender looks to be the replacement for Antetokounmpo, based on pregame warmups.

Video tribute was played in the arena about 40 minutes ago.

24 seconds of silence before national anthem.

It's tough having no bucks game or just 1 without the Bucks in a week but the passing of Kobe took a lot of my excitement anyway. I barely watched some of the highlights the last couple of days.

Giannis saying Kobe was the player who made him play basketball is no joke. In Greece before the internet/league pass and cable phase you only had 1-2 games per week on TV late in the night and 99% of the time it was the Lakers with Kobe on his prime against some other team. I bet it was the same for most of the european/international countries.
