I have no medical/physiology background what so ever, but there's something about the way he runs that scares me.

Giannis is just something else man so lucky to watch him every other night. Brandon Ingram is really good and deserves that all star.

Jrue Holiday really showing why he's so coveted on this board though. Impressive stuff.

Zion would probably help himself quite a bit if he dropped like 30 lbs.

Really was a fun game. Also hilarious timing that Jrue and Bled both stunk.

Zion is an amazing athlete but also an odd one to me.

He’s shaped like a fridge with short arms and small hands. He definitely doesn’t look like he should be capable of doing what he does

Just hope he can avoid any more serious injuries carrying all that weight on a frame like that. We saw here what that did to jabari.

Jabari was never close to being that big.

Zion's body just isnt built for basketball imo. It might not matter in the end, but I could easily see him going the same route as Blake. 3-5 years of above the rim superstar who dunks on everyone and everything. A few major injuries force him to ground himself and remake his game.

That was Wes Matthews way of saying “I’m not losing my starting spot”

Was just thinking how much I wished Zion was in the east. Watching him & Giannis go at it was one of the most aesthetically pleasing battles I've seen in a long time. Like The Thing vs Colossus or something. Be great to have it four times a year + playoffs.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. Hopefully his body holds up to his level of explosiveness in a way our boy's didn't.

Kind of blown away so many people are fellating Zion. His athleticism is striking and his strength is downright ridiculous. But he isn't used to NBA centers meeting him at the rim and I dont know if his inability to finish over longer players is going to improve as fast as his lower body is going to fail him. MY knees hurt just walking him JOG.

So we have a 6'6" strongman with elite strength who has a hideous release, has a ridiculous 2nd jump, cant protect the rim and is a weirdly unique player. If he is going to be as special as you all seem to think he is going to be the only big who cant shoot or defend the rim that impacts the game substantially. He looks like a rich man's Aaron Gordon to me. Which isn't a bad thing. Just not a generational talent.

The flex is the fact that they are the same player. Jrue gets talked about here like he’s a significant upgrade over Bledsoe when he’s just not

Idk about same. Its reasonable to acknowledge that a gap exists while also maintaining its not enough to warramt using assets for. Thats where I am with it.

He just doesn't look right because of his immense size compared to everyone else. There's no precedent for a guy of his size playing how he plays so it just all looks wrong. I agree with concerns about his longevity but not because of any particular movement pattern.

The biggest alarm bell for me is a knee issue before he's even taken an NBA court.

It's just great to watch him play though.
