Good to see Bud playing the starters a bit more when needed.

Agreed.

If we win the chip this year and Giannis gets a second MVP and Finals MVP, is he the greatest Buck of all time?

Yes.

Giannis is amazing and we all know this. But Kareem is legitimately arguably the greatest NBA player of all time. He won three MVPs with the Bucks. If Giannis is going to surpass Kareem, I think he either needs to match Kareem in MVPs or break his scoring and rebounding records.

All thats left is to play the games. Doncic is the only guy i can think of who has a shot at beating him next year but the Mavs gotta have a monster year.

Kareem is obviously the standard, and I am a huge fan of his. But he only played for the Bucks for 6 years. Giannis is on year 7, likely to win his second MVP, and if he wins a title, he'll match Kareem in championships as a Buck. While his numbers were eye-popping in Milwaukee, he also came in at 22 and played a lot more minutes than Giannis, which inflates his numbers a bit by comparison.

I also think Giannis had tougher competition than Kareem did back in his day.

It's an amazing thing to argue, though. Giannis is good enough to be even mentioned in the same breath as one of the GOATs.

What James Harden is doing should TERRIFY opponents.

I don't know that there's any way he could catch Kareem this year. Kareem was ROY and in short order the best player in the league. He was also a dominant center in the era of the dominant center. Giannis hasn't made a Finals yet

Talking about greatest Buck though. Giannis doesn't need to surpass Kareem's entire career for that to be true

Ersan only played 7 minutes in this one. Ersan will have his moments but I think big picture wise that's a positive development from Bud.

I’m not somebody to talk bad about the defensive scheme because it’s dominant almost every night and we’re the best team mainly because of it. But it’s frustrating that we didn’t just switch when Simmons and Horford was picking and popping when Horford was at the 5 it just didn’t make sense to me.

I thought ROLO had some really good minutes, giving Embiid trouble. ROLO and brook were a great combination tonight, Pat brought some extra hops and energy along with Donte.

Minutes:
Giannis 35
Kash 35
BLO 25
EB 33
Wes 31

DDV 24
ROLO 20
PattyC 16
Korver 14
Ersanity 7

I liked Giannis and Kash getting 35, playing above normal in a bigger battle. Giannis was definitely getting tired at the end, but was still going 100% even in the last minute.

ROLO was having a good impact on D, and nice to see Bud stayed with him longer minutes.

Wes was also big on the defensive end.

The Bench mob also showed a lot of energy with Pattyc, DDV, and even Korver.

I was happy with the rotation including no Sterling. I don't mind Sterling against the Wizards or whomever, but not potential playoff opponents.

Chuck post-game said we probably don't hit 70 wins because once we have #1 locked up Giannis, Midds and Bled will have to start resting due to all the mileage on them and play 20-30 minutes a game instead of 40. Ummm...Chuck...

I want RoLo to be my son in law!
