The headlines looked good back when it all went down, but once you read what had actually occurred it was a slap in the face. Now coaches are in contact with recruits daily through texts and DMs.

You're really missing the point IMO. This isn't like he broke some inhumane laws that needed to be broken to fight back and change the system. I know what the violations are, and I know that (many, not all) are not violations anymore. It's not the point. Heg got sanctioned for three years, left his old school, went to new school and did the exact same thing again. Not to mention, at a school where he does NOT need to be making such violations to succeed. It's **** Indiana.

Dude, the team imploded. If the Badgers' season had imploded, Bo was under review for recruiting violations, and ex-players were talking about how bad the drug use was on the team, you can bet on there being stories about it.

We can agree to disagree, this isn't going to go anywhere. Go Sampson.

Did UCLA make 100% of its midrange jumpers in that game?

I kind of can't get over how Suggs pulling up from half court, Steph/Dame range, while running/leaning, he's got Ray Allen form on the jumper. Dude was prepared for that moment.

What a fantastic finish , block shot, amazing 35 ft bounce pass , half court shot. Suggs did it all. Ucla fought like hell, let it all hang out. One of the greatest game. I have heard that some are calling Suggs shot the best ever, it was great but if he misses then it's on to ot. I think the Laettner shot was a game winner and they were down a pt.

Lmao. You realize they got rid of those rules about contacting recruits because everyone was breaking them right? The prevalence of burner phones in the mid aughts completely changed college recruiting. Now coaches are allowed to be in contact with recruits daily.

In a sport where teams have boosters and bag droppers handling their recruiting I can’t imagine calling a guy a “huge cheater” for making phone calls.

Hubert Davis to be named UNC coach today. Stayed in the "family" just like always.

I am quite surprised. Thought this was destined to be Wes Miller, since he has almost a decade of D1 head coaching experience now. But good for Davis.

An undefeated season is either made or lost tonight in the championship game. A game we should have gotten four months ago, but were denied the pleasure from COVID. Tonight we finally get it. I'm so excited for this game.
