Game 63: Bucks at Lakers - 9:30 - ESPN/FSN - Hill Out

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri Mar 6, 2020 12:18 am

A game all hoops fans are looking forward to watching.

No word on Hill's availability. Korver is on the road trip but no word on him either.

As usual there will be hot takes and overreactions win or lose.

Lakers favored by 1.

BUCKS HAVE WON 6 IN A ROW VS. LAKERS

GO BUCKS.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If the Bucks lose get ready for the Lakers/LeBron for MVP hype train to be its most obnoxious. If the Bucks win, it's only a regular season game and I mean Gianni is 7' tall so yea.

Dragic should have been suspended for that BS (he got Donte a few plays before that too). Completely intentional non-basketball play...

I don't like this new(ish) trend that teams are beating the **** out of our players and not getting called for anything. It's been happening to Giannis since last season so he's somewhat used to it but I think it's starting to rattle some of our other guys.

Marc Davis is officiating the Rockets Clippers game tonight, so I am assuming we won't see him tommrow. That's a good development for us.

Lebron's gonna try really hard to go at Giannis tomorrow. Kind of expecting a night where Giannis is in foul trouble.

Thinking we can get the win regardless.

This is definitely a game I'd like us to win.

The Bucks keep saying that they enter each game with the same plan. That they don't do any game planning for a specific opponent.

I don't buy that. I think they were amped to play Toronto several days ago, and I think they are very focused on the Lakers. I can't imagine that Antetokounmpo doesn't set his sights differently when going against Lebron, Doncic, Leonard or Harden. If he approaches the coaches with ideas or questions about an opponent, I doubt if he is told that the Bucks are just going to play their game, regardless of the other team.

I think this is especially true if the Bucks want to try some specific lineups against a team that they might see in the post season. They can't be that tone deaf to the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition.

Giannis definitely gets up for a game like this. Against LeBron heck Ya he's going to bring it.

Could really use all star Middleton as Giannis will have to kick out with some tall defenders at times.

Being amped up for a game and game planning specifically for a team are two completely different things.

Bucks now favored by 1

Hopefully Giannis isn't too amped up. Can't win with out of control Giannis.

The people who want to vote LeBron for MVP are going to put a ton of stock in this game. Hopefully Giannis leaves no room for doubt.
