I think I've reached a point where I have become completely incapable of making a sandwich without putting red onions on it.

Too overpowering. I like something more subtle, like spoonfuls of horseradish.

I use sweet onions on sandwiches and cut up a cucumber and put it in a vinegar/water/salt mix and put that on sandwiches too.

It is, but I’m not a fan of their new buns. Their custard is heavenly. I think Oscar’s has a much better burger fwiw
Speaking of takeout, any other people here obsessed with Thai food, specifically their curries like I am? I literally could it eat it everyday lol
Some of my favorites for Thai : Kim’s Thai and Thai Bangkok Express

I, too, have this weird obsession with red onions. I usually have one ready to cut up to put on salads or sammiches. I have always been fine with/liked them but the past 5-10 years they have elevated to a component that takes whatever I’m eating over the top.

I recall being very disappointed about 30 years ago when at a Subway realizing they switched to red onions.Kerb Hohl wrote:stellation wrote:I think I've reached a point where I have become completely incapable of making a sandwich without putting red onions on it.

Kopps is great....I liked the new buns at first, but then realized I miss the old ones
Burger is still ffffing great though, they upgraded bacon a couple years ago to Nueske's too. That was nice.

Anybody get their groceries delivered from Amazon specifically meat and produce? I'm in quarantine and am starting to run out of food.

The worst thing that could happen to a cow is to become parts of a Jucy Lucy. They should be outlawed.

Are you sure those aren't flying kangaroos?

A flying hoppy ride? If you get to see the big red kangaroos really going they do kind of look like they're flying.
I did see a kangaroo in my neighbour's place the other day, just chilling out and chomping on some stuff in his garden. We usually only get wallabies around where I am so it was pretty cool (they're a lot bigger!), the kangaroos only started showing up every now and then after the bushfires last year so it's a tad bittersweet to see them and realise they're a bit lost.
