Points East is easily the best if you can reconcile
The owner is a pederast.
Club Garibaldi has similar as the chef migrated over.
TomKens is very good as well. Lots of flavor options iirc, it’s been several years. Agreed about the grilled.
Stenys is an old standard and the bar is certainly a blast, but the wings are lacking.

Ya, tomkens a lot of options.
That's my knock (besides the owners issues) with points East. Great wings. 1 flavor option that isn't spicy enough for my liking.
I haven't had garabaldi before, but I want to try it out now
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

I have a job offer from them and the terms are good (apart from the shifts stuff...), I have thoroughly read their website and done some internet research on them, but the opinion of Americans for an American company are more than welcome.

The guy who ran the kitchen at TomKens (owner's son) owns and runs the kitchen at Neighborhood Draft. I'd recommend checking it out. They have updated menus on Facebook everyday.

It may take up to 4 months but I'm finally going to get a refund on my credit card instead of that 120% coupon from StubHub.

Still don't have my refund from Bucks Heat March 16.

Did they say they were going to give you one? I didn't get anywhere until they officially "reviewed" the NHL's policy on returning to play. Then they sent an email on Thursday that said the event had been officially cancelled and they applied that 120% coupon to my account. That's when I contacted them and told them I didn't want that and wanted a refund and they said I was eligible for a refund (I don't know what is eligible and what isn't but even if I wasn't eligible I was going to harass them until they gave a refund.)

Yeah, I had tix to the Celts game (first game cancelled). I haven’t heard one peep about a refund. Nor do I see any mechanism to request one.

Pretty much the same scenario for me. I got the exact same 120% credit or full refund to credit card. That was also last week, but they said it'd take 4 weeks to show up on my cc statement. So it'll be 4 months by the time it's all over. Hopefully anyway.

I'm a big fan of Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History, I also loved Serial (Season 1. 2 and 3 were meh), Sh*t Town, certain episodes of "This America Life" are awesome, other's not so much. That's all I can remember off the top of my head

WTF with Marc Maron is a basic choice, but it's consistently great regardless of guest. This may be my favorite episode of his and dammit, this is recorded right before Election Day 2016, so it goes into politics at the jump. Anyway, Sam Quinones is a terrific guest and "Dreamland" is a book I'd recommend to literally anybody. Maron has mastered the form:
Bodega Boys is in heavy rotation at the Chones Compound. Rapid-fire joke delivery concentrating on hyper-local Bronx references and embracing their aging hip-hop washedness. This is either a love or hate endeavor.

S Town is the absolute best. Finding Richard Simmons was pretty good. The Reply All episode "The Case of the Missing Hit".

Rumor has it the Hausers and Trevor Anderson are to blame for the large spike of Covid 19 in Portage county. Bar hopping after a graduation party.
